After the trial period I was charged $99.99 for an automatic subscription renewal that I was not expecting. During the sign-up process I did not clearly understand that I was agreeing to a recurring subscription.
I also experienced technical issues with the website during the checkout process, including problems completing the initial payment, which made the whole process unclear.
I contacted customer support immediately after noticing the charge. I explained that I only used the service once, that I do not need any further reports, and that I do not want account credit. I requested a refund, but my request was refused and I was only offered account credit.
In my opinion, the subscription renewal process should be presented much more clearly to customers before charging such a large amount.
My experience was disappointing because I only wanted a one-time vehicle history report, not an ongoing subscription.”
