“I am still recieving daily calls, despite the fact that I have sent 5 emails and spoken to 9 different people asking to close my account. I only invested £250 as I have no experience of this and wanted to start slowly but the daily phone calls were more than irritating at work and they did not stop, despite my asking which is why I decided I would like to close my account and get my money back. After nearly 5 weeks, no one has closed my account, given me my money back or even seems to know that I have asked for this. SCAM”
“All the people giving positive reviews are linked with these scammers. They pester you to give them more money then ignore emails and phone calls when you don’t. Don’t believe the positive reviews. It is not easy to withdraw money, in fact they ignore you when you ask to do so. They are thieves. Do not give them any money, you will regret it.”
“Someone has stolen my credit card and telephone and paid this company £250.
I have had my email hacked and am now receiving 100's of unsolicited emails and calls every day about Equitiz.
I obviously know nothing about this and the company will not refund the fraudulent payment.”
“I have been trying to close my account and withdraw my money for 3 weeks now tono avail.
They ring you incessantly but won't take instructions for withdrawal of money when you want to close your account.
I would give them minus one if I could. They have stolen my money as ar as I'm concerned as they have blocked me and I am unable to contact them.”
“The moment that I attempted to register they insisted that I pay a minimum of £250 to do so and sent me a link which, curiously, was for €250. This may be a legitimate operation but it gave out all the wrong vibes with the person who contacted me clearly focused on getting me to send my credit card details. I think there are more secure ways of investing your money.”
“They never answer the phone. Supposed to be a live chat on app, there isn’t. When they phone you it is only to badger you for more money. They are rude when they find out you don’t want to put more money in. It is hard to withdraw money out. I could go on and on about how bad they are.”
“My husband invested 229 euro a couple of weeks ago thinking he was buying bitcoin but he's 83 and suffered a stroke in February. He suffered another stroke recently and is very ill in hospital and wants his money back. He instigated a withdrawal and I spoke to an employee of Equitiz but to date no money has been returned to him. It's a scam! They aren't FCA regulated and their domain is only a month old!”
