I recently had the unfortunate experience of working with ERG Plumbing, and I must say it was extremely disappointing. Not only did they fail to meet their contractual obligations, but they also left me in a difficult financial situation. Firstly, their lack of professionalism was evident from the start. Communication was sporadic and often unresponsive, making it incredibly difficult to coordinate projects effectively. This lack of organization caused delays and unnecessary stress. Furthermore, ERG Plumbing consistently failed to deliver on their promises. They frequently missed deadlines, leaving my projects incomplete and causing significant disruptions to my daily operations. Their lack of reliability and accountability was truly frustrating. To make matters worse, ERG Plumbing has now gone into administration, leaving me with outstanding invoices totaling over £1000. It's deeply concerning that they have failed to fulfill their financial obligations, leaving me in a difficult financial position. Overall, my experience with ERG Plumbing has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to fulfill financial obligations have left me in a challenging situation. I strongly advise others to be cautious when considering working with this company.

Despite saying they did not have the staff to answer the phone (to the tribunal service for the mediation appointment THEY requested), they called me within 10 minutes of posting my review. After insisting they were acting in good faith, when asked if they will be contacting the court service to attempt to rebook a mediation, the agent responded "Maybe". I have heard nothing further from them since. that was 30/8/23 and it is now 9/9/23

I needed a gas engineer and so booked one with this rip off company. He came said he couldn't do the job because the gas pipe needed reworking and was gone in a few minutes. I GOT CHARGED £162 FOR A JOB THAT WASN'T EVEN DONE. I've heard of call charges but £162 is a total rip off. Avoid at all costs and don't use them ever.

I was disgusted to find that of the extortionate fee of £265 I paid to have a pest controller to my home, ERG took £135!!! £10 more than the man who came out! I would recommend that you look around and cut out the greedy ERG middle man. I would not recommend this service

I called in morning for someone to fix toilet and was told plumber would arrive at 2pm. At 1pm ERG called and said he "was running late" - (yeah, right) - and would not get here until 5pm. When I said this sounded like he wouldn't have time to do the work, I was reassured he would. He arrived at 4.45pm and, surprise, surprise, said it was too late to buy parts and he would return tomorrow. He took photo of toilet and left after 5 minutes. For this I was billed 162 pounds. Plumber returned next morning and actually did the work, costing me another 684 pounds. Reading other reviews I see the late 5-minute visit is is a common ERG trick. Company clearly cares not a jot as customers will never use them again anyway. Fleece them while you can seems to be the motto.

Call out took longer than initial told. Had three phone calls rearranging the time. On attending the engineer treated one wasps nest and said they he would put a quick squirt of the treatment in a separate wall although he didn't think it was a nest but it was "better to be safe". At no point did he say this counted as an extra nest and the honour would cost us an additional £90! He didn't give us an option not to do this or tell us the price implications. Clearly just a money making scheme.

Sorry ! The young man who turned up - late - and didnt speak much English - so it was very difficult to converse with him. I knew immediately and it was obvious that he didnt have much experience with dealing with a customer or to convey any 'fluent' details of the work needed. Sorry but I simply did not have the time to be more patient. Any 'tradesman' who deals with domestic customers - needs to have full 'customer' training before they are allowed into a domestic environment, and I really would hope you will help him to get that support. I wish him well.

Be warned people...They sent an ineffective engineer who spend 5 minutes at my property & charged me £150 for an ineffective service I booked ERG to come & take care of a wasp’s nest at my property. The call was made at 9:00am and the man on the line said the engineer would call between 9:30am – 12:00pm. At 1 pm (with no sign of the engineer) I was told he was delayed & would come at the latest by 3pm. I re-arranged things so someone could be at the property. 3:30pm but still no engineer.... eventually he turned up at 4:10pm. At the property he seemed in a rush. He sprayed a small amount of application under the guttering, said the company would e-mail a receipt & then left. He was at the property literally 5 minutes. I had my doubts he’d done a proper job but waited to see. After a few days (with no decrease in activity) I contacted them. They said the engineer said it would take 7-10 days. They said to call back after that if the problem had not been resolved and they could discuss this with the engineer. 11 days later with no decrease in activity, I again contacted them. They then informed me they did not guarantee work, and that I'd have to pay again for another visit. So I still have a wasps nest, but I'm £150 lighter for it.

I needed some electric work. I was told it could be done today after 3pm for double the price. I said No, tomorrow will be fine. They took my card details for security as some people don't pay. An electrician arrived the next day and said the job would take 2 days, would be very expensive and he could not take it on. So no work was done at all. I had £162.00 taken from my bank account. I emailed this company and asked for a refund no one got back to me. Robbers, I was left feeling very cheated. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD DETAILS. Total rip off. If I hear back I will let people know. Fingers crossed they will do the decent thing.

Total rip off. Find a local company. I fitted a kitchen tap for a customer, who supplied her own tap. I charge £50 + materials, they charged the customer £249. STAY AWAY AND IVE NOT BEEN PAID FOR JOBS IVE DONE FOR THE. SINCE MARCH. IN PROCESS OF TAKING THEM TO COURT.

This company is a total Scam. They try to charge you for jobs that weren't done. Do not use them. Find a reputable company not this bunch.

My Company was working for ERG on a sub contract basis ....they get your card details and its from £130 plus VAT ...per hour ..so if im there 1hr 20mins you get charged approximately £300 off your card ..for which i get about £130 ...check out rouge traders on you tube ..put in ERG and watch . Futher works are quoted for by me ...so ..you already been charged 1 hr ...and i say to ERG ...£350 to complete job ..they say to you ..£475 .....plus the 300 you already paid .....800 to change a toilet cistern ....??? Do not call out ERG

As a sub-contractor I have carried out a number of emergency Drainage jobs for ERG Facilities ltd. They still owe me a substantial amount of money from over 3 months ago. They take payment off the customer directly after the job is completed, but then don't pay the contractors. ERG are not a company that employ any tradesmen/women, they put money into online marketing so they have a strong online presence, then sub the work out to independent trades, but with their extortionate prices on top. Companies like this are crippling to small businesses/sole traders. Especially when they hold back on paying said sub-contractors.

Avoid completley Charged me £162 for a quote to have none emergency work to be done. I knew what work needed to be done and advised the Plumer of this, I mean its not complex knowing there is now water or waste there for a washer that needs to be added plus fit a skink. Also, email confirmation that the job would be £13ph+VAT not £135+VAT. No work was done, and never recieved the quote! I chose this company over one that had a call out charge as this was just a quote for work to be done. Never known anything like this, I mean even Dick Turpin wore a mask

Our cistern lever spindle broke. The plumber ERG sent diagnosed I needed a whole new cistern, quoted £591. A mate who knows a bit about plumbing got the part for under £4, fitted and fixed in 10 minutes. To be avoided at all costs. They will rip you off and overcharge you.

Scam !!!!!!! All contractors stay away from this company , initially they pay after 60 days then they ripped off your invoices and pay £200-300 once in two week then they making longer and take it to next year , every sub-contractor should take them to court as I’m taking them . My invoices are still due from 2022

Do not use this company they will rip you off. They do not pay the contractors that work for them. Currently taking them to court for 11 unpaid invoices.
