“Ordering and delivery process easy and efficient. Fits my tall 4yr old perfectly. Unfortunately, for a new item the quality was not as I would've expected. Various pulls and markings on the costume.”

“Not the companies fault but the courier did not deliver the parcel on time and didn't leave me a note. This meant I had no costume to wear for my party.”

“Lovely looking costume. Fast delivery. But there is no way that the size L is for 12 to 14 years. Way to short and the hat is to small. I have had to purchase a brown vest top to adapt the costume and make it longer. As it was so short.”

“I like the outfit, but there are adjustments to be made for it to fit well. I am a size 12, 5' 8" and bought the medium, but it is too short in the body and a little baggy at the waist. The waist line is round the top of the hips so the belt doesn't sit in the right place. A few stitches should keep it in place round the front, but the back is very low indeed. Boot tops are acceptable, and the headband was so comfy I answered the door without realising it was still on!!! The outfit is not wired and does need a strapless bra under it for decency, it is a very thin lycra. Cape is fine, but wrist cuffs do need a red star painted on them. I would say it does the job for a casual fancy dress, but you won't win any prizes for authenticity. I would buy from Escapade again.”

“We ordered 3 costumes. Quick delivery. 2 of the costumes were fine and worth the money, but the plus size skeleton zombie we ordered for £32 was a complete rip off. The material is like paper. Worth about £10 max. We would return but need it for a function. Need to reduce this costume massively on the website. Very overpriced for what you get.”

“Good quality clothing, although a little expensive for what you get. We had to send it back though as my daughter, who’s a size 6-8, ordered the small as this was the smallest they stocked. The small was meant to fit a size 8, but was huge, more like a size 12 minimum I’d say!”

“I purchased to outfits the mens was std size apparently std is an 18 stone man. the ladies size 14 had a pair of hot pants a 12 year old could just about fit in. The outfits are great which I'm guessing are from china were sizing isn't their strong point. Other than that the service is great and costumes are good.”

“Only half the costume was delivered to begin with. The internal bag was ripped open and only one part of costume was present, which was disappointing. Fortunately I was able to contact Escapade who were able to send a replacement with next-day AM delivery in time for my party, but it was an unnecessarily close call.”
