Early days! I am a new customer but so far the customer service has been very good

I have had a broadband connection for a number of years through my telephone line and was promised a download speed of up to 20Mbps. However the line would only take 2Mbps but most of the time the actual speed was around 0.5Mbps. It was impossible to view videos on line because they kept dropping out and stopping/starting. It took ages to download anything varying from an hour for a small download to many hours for a large download. As a result I turned to satellite broadband. The download speed has greatly improved and is around 12Mbps but it has been up to 18Mbps at times. The upload speed has gone from 0.2Mbps to around 6Mbps. I have nothing but thanks to say to Europasat for supplying the equipment and making the connections. The whole package was made very easy and the price was very reasonable. The equipment is owned by me so I can take it with me if I move to another part of Europe without too much problem. I would recommend Europasat to anybody who is thinking of changing to satellite broadband. Many many thanks to Europasat from a very grateful customer.

We are very pleased with the way in which the satellite was installed and the quality of the Internet service we have had since then. One of the main reasons we chose your service was because it can be turned off when we are not in France. Could you please tell me how this can be done. Thank you Paul Evans

My account's still not activated; I don't have a clue why!? And absolutely no response from any member of the team who are supposed to help us (except : We'll call you back" which is not done!). Europasat also has received mails explaining my issue but no feedback at all. I am very disappointed by such a beginning of partnership!

Slow when using vpn and it seemed to get slower the more I used it. Ok for surfing the net but I don't think I could use it for work every day

Due to the latency that is inherent with Satellite Broadband we would always recommend that you test the system with any VPN before ordering as some are affected more than others by the latency. Technically the product delivers good speed, however, the cost is prohibitive for using to streamline film and series.

The interaction with Europasat and John Sidwell was extremely good and informative. The equipment was delivered on time and efficiently, but the performance and connection of the satellite internet is so slow and interuptive as to be useless for this day and age. We have also just been informed just 5 days after installation that we have used over 26% of our data quota, on what? we have not downloaded anything other than normal websites. 2 of those days we actually lost all connection as we had the power out due to a storm, so what is happening.

Good service, although more advice on the use of data would have been benifical as phone service is poor in the area that we live.

Our satellite equipment was delivered in a timely fashion. It was easy to install and set up, although fine tuning the dish to obtain close to the recommended13.6db was a lengthy procedure, which I am pleased to report was eventually realized! We are now connected and enjoying a reliable and fast service.

Having recently made the transition from another Satellite Broadband provider to Europasat, Despite the fact that I am using my existing Equipment and connected to the same Satellite, the broardband speeds are far better, I'm now getting a consistent 10+ Meg where as previously I was getting sub 1 Meg consistently, this is to do with how busy the network actually is, and whether the providers are investing money to maintain speeds to ensure customer satisfaction. I do hope that this service delivery continues.

I was very pleased with the service I received relating to the installation of my new satellite internet. Everyone involved was very professional and knowledgeable. We are thoroughly enjoying the connection speeds. I highly recommend this company.
