We normally purchase the standard size pie as the pastry is great and the filling plenty. We tried the family size chicken and mushroom pie and were really disappointed. Theres hardly any filling in it! I think we counted 3 bits of chicken and there's barely any sauce. Definitely do not recommend

Unfortunately the Steak pie was full of gristle. The gravy was pleasant, but almost all the meat was inedible. I won't buy the steak pie again. I'll be sticking with the cheese, leek and potato pie from now on.

Bought steak and ale pie for two this was without doubt the worst pie of any type I have had the misfortune to eat threw away more than half it resulted in ruining the whole meal never ever again.

Lovely jubbly , just had a chicken and mushroom pukka pie and I didn't want a drink after it because I didn't want to take the yummy flavours off my pallette , bang on pukka.

No chicken in pie total waste of money .. not that any body at puka care because if they did they would put something that was visable inside it. More chicken in a packet soup.. befor it sees the boiling water.

I used to enjoy Pukka products but something has changed. No longer, tasty chunks of meat seem to have been replaced with gristle and fat. Now an ex-pukka fan.

I consider myself a pie connisuer I I usually buy M&S pies. They are made with butter pastry and melt in the mouth. I thought I would try Pukka pies for a change. M&S leave these disgusting pies standing. The filling is just a mush no meat to speak of and didn't taste any kidney in that pie. I left some of it and another one I had purchased to try.Went straight in the food waste recycling bin. Disgusting.

There was about a tablespoon of what looked like chicken soup with a tiny bit of mushroom and a smaller piece of chicken. The steak pie was just as bad, with one piece of tiny steak. For £2.00 each,it was a complete rip off.The supermarket own are now much better. From a tearful ex Pukkaholic.

This is the second time we've bought pukkas and thrown most away. Not buying them any more. There was no chicken in the chicken and mushroom and a lot of glue like gravy with hard low grade pastry. Another customer lost! Not like they used to be. Adiós !

Worst filling I have ever tasted, water and cornflour sauce with shards of chicken and one very small piece of chicken and one mushroom in the Chicken and Mushroom Pie I couldn’t eat it as it was too salty

Great if you like pastry and 20% beef and 2 % potatoe. Went in the bin, what a joke.

Where is the chicken in a chicken & mushroom pie ? 🤷‍♀️ Sadly there is no substance to a pukka pie these days and considering the price, they’re not worth buying.

Go to Gregg's and buy a steak bake. It has some flavour and some meat. Pukka means proper but these pies are certainly not proper. Full of gloopy gravy. Yes the original gravy pie.

The pastry was fine but the filling was really poor. Chicken filling was colourless and looked like a glutinous mass. Not worth eating and very disappointing
