“I am so pleased with my mat. I ordered a mat to protect my dining room table. I had to do a custom size and I was so nervous that it wouldn’t work. Customer service was amazing and my mat couldn’t be more perfect. If you’re on the fence, take the leap. You’ll be glad you did!”

“Awesome mat; I couldn't be happier!!!! I have covered tables with clear plastic, bought at the fabric store many times over 50 yrs. After purchasing my ExactMat, I will never buy from anyone else. This was so easy to lay out, no time needed to flatten and is super easy to clean. I took it off our new kitchen table for one meal and there was a scratch on the side of the table within an hour. So glad I had it here waiting when the table arrived.”

“The crystal mat looks nice on a glossy table top until it starts to settle. Then it sticks to the tabletop, but not evenly, so it has the effect of making blotches of "stuck" patches. The rounded corners are barely rounded. If you have the chance, custom-make the corners. Once the mat is received, you cannot return it for alterations. The best you can do is order another and get a discount.”

Thank you for your review, Connie. We’re sorry to hear your mat is “sticking” to the table. That’s certainly not what we want. That said, looking at your order, it looks like you selected Crystal as your finish type and that you are using it on a glossy surface. However, Crystal is only recommended for use on non-glossy surfaces. This is because, due to the chemical qualities of vinyl, which truly wants to lay as flat as possible, Crystal tends to cling to glossy, flat surfaces tightly enough to cause air bubbles to be trapped between the surface and mat. This is why you are seeing what we call clinging. Regarding returns - we do offer returns on standard products, but due to the nature of custom-made items, we do not offer returns on custom products. However, in cases where our customers are unhappy with their mat and would like to re-place it with different customization options (such as finish and corner radius), we offer 25% off. It looks like we sent you this offer, so when you would like to re-place your order with a more appropriate finish type for your surface, just let us know so that we may apply 25% off to your order.
