Hi Glen, Great question! We include clips on all of our auto mat orders and are meant for the front driver's side mat, where constant foot traffic, from getting in and out of the vehicle, may cause minor slippage of the mat. Those clips are not always needed, however, and are usually optional. If you do opt to use them, and you need assistance installing them, we'd be happy to assist! Just let us know. “This is the second set of mats I have purchased for the front seats. My car is nearly 6 years old. The driver mat had turned orange. I suppose from dirt, etc. I got the front passenger mat so they would match. The carpet in my car is in excellent condition.”

“I got a mat to cover my desk/sewing machine cabinet and it fit perfectly. Since it is an older wood cabinet, I wanted the Exactmat to protect if from the oils on my skin and also any potential scuff marks from pens, monitor, etc. Because it's clear, it protects without hiding this beautiful piece of furniture. “I've been using Exactmats for all the vehicles I purchase. My latest purchase for a 2021 GLS 580 was nowhere near the right size on all the mats. They are at least 4 - 5 inches short in all directions except for the driver mat which I had to cut down just to get it to fit by the gas pedal. As a follow-up, Exactmat read my review and reached out to let me know they had probably sent wrong mats. I sent pictures of what I received and they agreed the mats were not right. They immediately sent new mats that fit perfectly. Superior customer service!”
