“Order was received in good time however the majority of 3 packets worth of crickets were dead on arrival and not edible which is a shame and why the lower score awarded. Had they all been in good health a 5 star would have been awarded”

“It took 4 days to be notified that one of the three live feed items I had paid for was out of stock, and that was only because I messaged customer services. Finally one week after making the order it arrived to find the worms practically dead. Better quality at Pets at home and that saying something.”

“Ordered a box of adult large crickets, half of them were already dead on arrival then there was also the issue that they all died over a period of 3 days even with fresh veg/fruits and bug gel and using a critter keeper so won't bother ordering from here again”

“I have been using Exotic Pets for over 18 months now since getting my dwarf frogs. The website is amazing, very easy to navigate and purchasing items is simple and straightforward. I have been using it weekly to order live food for my frogs and delivery is always reliable via the Royal Mail. If I have had any issues, the friendly staff have always listened and accommodated any request immediately. I highly recommend Exotic Pets to anyone with an exotic pet!”

Hello Victoria, We understand that you are frustrated at your Black Beauty stick insect dying after two weeks. However, as we have discussed; we cannot be held responsible that you have fed it the wrong food item during this period, despite our website very clearly stating the correct food for each species we sell. This does not make our products 'terrible'. After you contacted us regarding an item being missing from your order, we apologised and sent out the missing item the same day; to which you gave our team a 'Great Rating' on our email system. Based on this, we are not entirely sure the above comments or the one-star review are accurate in this situation. Best regards, Gemma.

“I had never owned an exotic pet before and wanted to get a toad for my friend as she has an obsession with them. I emailed in advance to give me a hand with my research and equipment and Karen was fantastic. She re organised my basket with the correct equipment I would need and gave me some pointers to get us started. On top of this, it proved difficult to find a frog or toad in the uk that would be shipped in time but Exotic Pets smashed it! Highly recommend!”

“Really good shop. Answers any questions I had. Stick insects came quick but through royal mail. Box obviously felt empty so poor little things would have been chucked about. One of my insects came with a broken leg and limps on it. Also a snapped antenna/feeler. Maybe if the box was labelled up (fragile, live bugs inside, ets)”
