Faculty-X provided a very efficient and effective service with a straightforward ordering system and good delivery.
I think the product is exceptional in what it offers in terms of ease of use, functionality and flexibility and is very cost-effective. Just plug the units in and they work.
This is the second set of three I have purchased. The first set replaced older units from a leading brand and whilst they worked well at the time they were unable to keep up when I upgraded my broadband. I would have continued with the previous make but their products have more limited facilities (less ports, no piggy back, slower speed and a design issue) and were a higher price, which made me look at alternatives. I found the Solwise units at Faculty-X, cross-checked the specification elsewhere to ensure it was correct and ordered the set which have provided exactly what they are supposed to. Good speed, good performance, good price.
I know that performance can be affected by the mains wiring. Our property is fairly new (20 years old) which has not been extended so the mains wiring is good and simple. The second set are installed in a friends house which is much older and has been extended but once again the units were plugged in and worked first time. In both cases they work well. In both they are plugged into a main socket, which is possible because of the pass through 'piggy' facility.
I can therefore highly recommend these Solwise homeplugs and the Facility-X service.”

The Solwise Smartlink 1200AV2 came top of the listings in most of the group tests so it was a no brainer. Step forward Faculty X for the best price. £12 cheaper for a pair than anywhere else. The delivery was estimated at 5-7 days after order confirmation but I received them in 3 days. I can't recommend either Solwise or Faculty X high enough.
I now have an internet connection on the lounge via the Ethernet cable to my Android tv box and PS4 that surpasses what I was expecting.

“These Solwise homeplugs arrived quickly. Plugged them in & worked without problem once paired. These replaced some 500mbps units. I tested with Speednet before teardown 64mbps, with new 1200's 96mbps. That's almost the same speed as my direct to hub connected office PC, great! These were the cheapest Solwise 1200av I could fine & I would recommend & use Faculty-X again.”
