The fleece described as "evening blue" was actually black, so it was a total waste of time and money ordering it.

The item I bought was charged at full price and not the sale price. Yes, I did pre-order the item. But when I checked on the website when I received it, it was already priced at the reduced value. Field and Trek would not refund the difference. Sent the item back.

The response and speed of order processing by Field and Trek was quick and efficient and the product purchased is excellent, and just as described. Very happy with all this. BUT!!... I will not be using Field and Trek again. WHY?..the delivery of the package by Yodel was appalling - they delivered the package to the wrong address (a property that is currently vacant where a workman just happened to be on the day). Field and Trek must change their delivery arrangements to secure my future support and use.

Coat arrived with broken draw toggle, but it wasn't worth returning as I would have been liable or return postage even though it was faulty. Free sport direct mug was sent with the order, at least I .presume that is what it would have said if it had survived the couriers basketball practice. Reasonable products and price let down by small annoying niggles.

"Poor" rating is due to F&T's returns policy not the product performance. But for F&T's efficient replacement of the faulty item, would have been "Very Poor". Purchase was for two Nevica ski holdalls. On receipt, a wheel unit on one of the holdalls was twisted (assembled out of position) & wouldn't track correctly. These things shouldn't but do happen - original manufacturing fault so apply the returns procedure. However, F&T's terms & conditions require the customer to pay the return postage - in this case £12.98 @ RM's heavy parcel rate (3.5kg), for an item costing £25.99. Wouldn't complain if it was a small, light item. Find it unacceptable that customer should bear the cost of the manufacturer's quality control failure. Suggest that F&T should apply the practice of other reputable retailers in these circumstances by e-mailing the customer a postage pre-paid returns label.

You didn't have the size sandal I wanted so I ordered online. When these didn't fit I found I had either to pay returns postage on them or make an exchange at a F&T store. I think you should give cash refunds like everyone else. I feel this quite strongly and would not buy online again in similar circumstances. R Sinclair

I wrote a negative review about a product that I had bought from Field and Trek in the days when they chose whether to publish them on their site. The review wasn't published so I never bothered again. If they are now outsourcing review management to other companies it can only be a good thing. So here is the Poor rating that they didn't publish before. Whilst I appreciate the low prices, I would be happier to pay more if Field and Trek employed less staff on zero hours contracts.

I receive an email asking me to submit a review even though I am yet to receive the product I hav paid for. Fail. I originally tried to pay for this product through PayPal but was told that I could not do so as I live in the Chanel Islands. I deal with various people on the mainland and have no problem paying through paypal, your service is seriously lacking. I wrote to your customer services and they replied asking me to supply the product code, which I did. They then wrote back asking for a screenshot of my PayPal options. At this point I gave up and paid for the item by bank card. I find your service and your customer service department very poor. I have been using Merrell trainers usually bought from your Guildford store for some fifteen years. The online experience has not Good.

Boots very different in colour to onsite image in all aspects. I would not recognise them. Am sending back.

The shoes where not suitable so i returned them on the 03/02/2015. I am still waiting for my refund. supply a cus/serv fone number, totaly frustrating. not happy. never again

I'm disappointed that the jacket arrived with a hole under the right arm. I'm not sure if this was due to the jacket arriving with the hanger and some how the hanger has got caught on the jacket during transportation.

Boots look and feel great very comfy, ordered online as they were much cheaper than in the shops. Although the boots are great the box was something else. It was battered and creased, there were coffee cup rings on the lid, and when I opened it it almost fell to bits. Come on field and trek your dispatch dept. is letting you down.

Delivery and service was excellent but sadly the item was faulty and I've had to return it. As it was boots costing £80 I have had to pay postage at £11.00 to track the item and I am unsure as to whether I will receive a full refund (although I am entitled to this). It would be helpful if a different system for returning faulty items was available (eg return to store perhaps?). Pity as the service was good.

Sizes are a bit strange. My current Karrimor walking shoes are a size 5 with plenty of room. Bought Karrimor trainers and walking shoes both in a size 5.5 and neither fitted particularly the walking shoes and disappointed I have had to pay to send back for larger sizes when not my fault at all. They charges for returning them mean they were not such good value for money! A real shame

Promo code worked but then I got charged full price. Two right shoes sent with no customer service offered to sort the problem. No telephone number to phone customer services.

The product was exactly as expected, but the delivery firm you choose to use is very unreliable. I paid the standard postage for delivery, but the item was not delivered despite a text from the company informing me it would be, someone was in the house all day, no card was left, just a text telling me ' sorry we missed you'. I could not arrange someone to be home all day again, they would not leave the parcel without a signature, so I had just over a 50 mile round trip to collect the parcel. This firm is unreliable as the same thing happened with another order with another company. For this reason I will not be ordering from your company again. Had you indicated that Yodel was the delivery firm, not Royal Mail or DPD (who will leave parcels in a designated place), I would not have ordered as it has proved problematic in the past. I cannot be your only customer who has experienced problems with this firm. For this reason I have to give a low rating - although the item ordered is not the issue.

I am disappointed in the Customer Service i have received from you as i ordered my goods on Friday 9th January 2015. My order was sent to your courier Yodel on the 10th January 2015. They apparently tried to deliver my parcel on Saturday 10th and Monday 12th but on both of these said occasions they didn't leave a card. I contacted you and yodel to which you gave me my tracking number which i already had and Yodel promised they would deliver on Tuesday 13th Jan. I gave them 2 different numbers to contact me on and waiting at home once more. Still no delivery and no phone calls. I now have to travel 86miles tomorrow to collect this order. Regards Simon
