This company delivered mattresses and their delivery driver negligently damaged our phone lines, as he left our carpark. As a domestic abuse charity these lines were our 24/7 helpline for victims seeking help. The company refused to pay for the damage, and said the driver was not at fault despite his behaviour being witnessed by others. Great ethics guys, a company to be proud of

Absolutely amazing service. Bought a fireplace insert after being sold one which wouldn't fit by another supplier, was assured on the phone and then directly by the supplier that it would fit. Arrived on time and perfect. Asked for some cast iron paint which they sent through without asking for penny. First class, would highly recommend.

amazing ! 1st class company. couldn't fault them. Fantastic customer and after sales service. So polite on the phone answered all my phone calls and email response was second to none!!! delivery was as promised and on time. I cant praise this company enough, the best on-line shopping experience i've had. Believe that, I don't think so!!! Please !Please! Please! don't use this -u-k--g excuse for a company. I had to reclaim my money through the bank as they wouldn't cancel my order and refund me after not receiving goods. No tracking of courier etc. Fobbed off when ever I managed to get through and made out that they never received my emails. Excuses! Excuses! Excuses! only time I got a response is when I got bank involved. Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere.

Terrible customer service. On the occasions I could get them on the phone they could never tell me when I would get my refund or the replacement product that I had bought. Said they would ring back. THEY NEVER RING BACK! Spent 3 weeks chasing for info. Said the refund had been sent but there was a hold up at the bank. Found out this was a lie, the money had not been sent. Had to threaten them with small claims court. I was promised a date for the new product to arrive. It didn't. Rang and rang to find out when it would be here. Fobbed off with excuses. Still waiting. They say they will call to confirm, but they never do. Absolute farse!

Purchased a gas fire off them on the 10th May, due to the corona virus doing the rounds it took a couple of weeks to entice a gas installation man here, after sweeping the chimney and installing the fire he discovered the electronic 'spark' that ignites the gas was broken. I contacted the firm anss was told the gas men were not in until 10am, I waited till 11.30 and rang again, this time they had gone out and would ring back. They did'nt. I rang the following day, they were in a meeting. I e-mailed them and two days later received an e-mail back saying as it was now installed it was not their responsibility and I needed to contact the manufacturer, needless to say I am still waiting, this is supposed to come with a seven year guarantee, but nobody will accept responsibility. Avoid at all costs!

Bought a bed of them, though Amazon, in January, the stitching on one of the corners has come away. Because it over 30 day's old, they don't want to do anything. I've had to pay for a mattress bag from Ebay £4, and I have to pay a courier to deliver it £20. £24 for them to look a faulty mattress. Customers service is non-existent Goods have to fit for purpose and last a reasonable amount of time. That's the law.

My 90 year old parents left traumatised with the after sales service from the manager Pete. Placed and order for electronic gas fire as unable to light by hand due to disabilities in December. Fire delivered promptly with a local gas fitter called, he unpacked fire to find was a manual model and also damaged . Immediately my mother contacted to arrange a replacement, two days later exactly same occurred inc further damage. Eventually correct fire delivered but understandably the gas fitter charged for each visit. My mother contacted Pete who promised to rectify her out of pocket costs of around £180 (an amount they do not have) and would contact the suppliers as he claimed their fault....... since then despite many phone calls (always in meetings and just popped out the standard excuse) and 4 e mails ABSOLUTE SILENCE. If not resolved very soon I will be taking legal action on their behalf

Extremely poor. I ordered an electric stove from them. I phoned them and arranged for them to leave it in my 'safe place' out of sight of the road. When I got home on the delivery day, there was no stove and no 'tried to deliver' card posted through the door, so as far as I was concerned they had'd delivered it. I phoned them on the following Monday and was told they had delivered it, and was emailed a photo of it on my front door step, which was not the safe place we'd agreed. Over the following weeks, I phoned them every other day to try and sort the issue out. Each time, I was fobbed off with a myriad of pathetic excuses. Like they thought I was some kind of idiot and would believe them. Each time I was promised a call back. Each time they never called me back. At one point they even argued with me, accusing me of having the stove and 'trying it on'! Another time, they argued with me, and said it could just as easily have been stolen from my 'safe place'. Well, that's why it's called a 'safe place', duh. They claimed they were investigating, but couldn't tell me what their customer service investigation procedure was, or how long it would take. Under consumer law, if it's not left in the place the customer instructs, the company the customer bought it from is liable to rectify the issue. I mentioned that, but they didn't seem to care, were very blase about taking my money and not giving me the goods, and couldn't tell me their well defined customer service procedure for dealing with complaints. So I took them to the small claims court to extract my refund out of them instead. I laid out all my evidence in the court filing. When they received the court papers, that prompted a very amateurish email from a 'John', promising me a full refund if I'd cancel the court case (yeah, right, like I'm really going to believe them.) They still never called me to try and rectify the issue. They never even replied to the court papers. Eventually, I received a cheque from them, for the cost of the stove, plus my court costs. The incompetence and lack of respect for customers from this company is unbelievable.

Appalling customer service. Wrong item delivered and when we tried to get it replaced we were ignored. Their mistake, rude staff and failure to put things right. Avoid at all costs!

Do not buy from this shop because the customer service and the delivery is a joke and everytime I rang up about my fire was getting delivered they was fobbing me of on the phone so I advise people do not buy from this shop thank you

Had to return fire very poor customer service ,continually fobbed off ,recommend you don't use this company absolute hassle ,sent a total of six emails and four calls to sort return. Then charged rip off 15% restocking fee.

So they will guarantee to beat any like for like quote,i rang to tell them the same fire was advertised for £735 instead of their £774,but they lied and couldn't beat it,so i still bought the fire like a fool,was due to be delivered on a wednesday,then they rang me to say the van had broken down,then delivery was set for thursday,when it came i had to help the driver carry it out the van,the packaging was smashed up and torn so i opened it all up to find the coal set broken in half,the fire dented and a leg missing,i refused the fire and sent it back with the driver.i rang up to explain what had happened and the chap on the phone didn't want to know,he kept on fobbing me off and telling me to email sales,i wanted to talk to someone ,but he said there isn't anyone to talk to only email,i kept calling so the started ignoring my call,so emailed the sales team who also ignored me for 2 days until i found them on facebook,again fobbed me off so complained to paypal ,but fireplaces 4 life was clinging on to my money for dear life,but after nearly a month paypal refunded me,i do not recommend these people,if you do get something from them without anything broke or damaged,then i would say LUCKY YOU,if you need a refund then i would say GOD HELP YOU
