“I found my experience with First Tutors to be very positive. Did not know how to go about finding a tutor for my daughter but First Tutors was very helpful and allowed me to find what I was looking for with no stress.”

“First Tutors provided us with a choice of several tutors for my daughter who wants to improve her A level French. They were all well qualified and experienced. I contacted 3 of the tutors and then chose 1 who is excellent and lives near to us. I would recommend First Tutors.”

“It's so great to find someone so close to home and so accommodating, Ben is very qualified and being trained in Aviation is a real bonus for my son who is getting in to Aviation/Avionics.”

“Great site. Found the perfect tutor for our needs easily. Put any worries at ease by giving access to reviews and references etc. If on a budget please read small print before finding a tutor as there is a fee for releasing contact details.”

“Great to find a tutor through a quick and easy mechanism. Cost is quite expensive to secure the tutor contact details. Furthermore that does not mean the tutor is right for you.”

Dear Vinay, Thank you for your feedback. Our one-off introduction fee helps to cover the cost of reference and identity checks on all of our registered tutors. These fees are variable and are linked to the tutor's price per hour to make our service as affordable as possible. If you do find that your chosen tutor is not suitable for you all we ask is that you contact us, leave feedback for your tutor, and then we will connect you with another tutor at no further cost to you. “Just had my first ever guitar lesson! Ian was really warm and friendly. I straight away felt comfortable. He clearly is very knowledgeable and passionate in his work. I really liked how he broke down everything into simple memorable parts. I learnt so much in one lesson thanks to his clear and patient methods. Ian has a wonderful encouraging manner that would support anyone at any age in their learning. I can’t recommend him highly enough. I’m booked in for my next lesson and can’t wait. Excellent tutor!”

“Good choice of tutors, different ages, experience etc near me. Useful profile and good that qualifications, references etc checked. Easy to use site and swift IT/customer service support when I had a problem. Found a tutor and all going well so far. Think price is reasonable as it is a one-off not ongoing.”
