“The method of choosing first tutors was by recommendation and based on that we will be able to have a better idea on how well the help has been after the first lessen.”

“After charging us an exorbitant amount for a few lessons, the tutor suddenly disappeared and never made contact again. It is indeed very disappointing that First Tutors have such tutors on its system and are actively marketing their profiles, leading customers to believe that the teachers on the system are trustworthy and committed to the profession. It was a waste of time and money, and we are now too late to find another tutor for our son.”

“Unfortunately this tutor was not able to deliver as expected. I will not be continuing after the first meeting. Since this has proved unsuccessful I feel that I should be refunded the fee paid to First Tutors as I can no longer have trust that I will get the service expected. Please email your reply. “I had been thinking about having lessons for a long time and when I got round to it the process was really easy. I have had my first lesson and I am very happy with the result.”

“I felt the system was too restrictive and also not quantitative to use. I paid €20 for a tutor who won't travel, granted I should have spotted this in his profile but it wasn't totally obvious to me and now I feel I have wasted €20. This is such a fundamental issue, from a child welfare perspective I would not send my son to a strangers house, that I think it needs more prominence.”
