“I was looking for a tutor to help my adopted granddaughter with her year 12 grades. She had lost confidence in herself and the school she attends. I live overseas and when I began the search I was very unsure of what I would find. But I came across First Tutors on the internet and through an easy process I found just the person my granddaughter needed. Perhaps fortune favoured us but we really have found the perfect tutor and we have gone from feeling at a loss of what to do to one of confidence and hope that my granddaughter will now have a chance to show her true potential.”

“I needed a tutor to help my daughter achieve a good grade in her maths gsce. I found the site helpful to choose the right tutor for us. You can speak to a few tutors few before deciding. The only thing I wasn't happy with was that once I had decided on one I had to pay a fee to get their contact details. The fee should be fixed and you should know about it when joining the site. The tutors fees are high enough without having to payout extra hidden fees.”

“Nicola is very engaging and enthusiastic when teaching. She uses different relevant teenage scenarios to explain the subjects which she then puts into context. Amazing to see how she teaches and would definitely recommend her as a tutor”

“Found a local tutor on your website within our budget and orchestrated a first meeting. It was only after this that I received the information that the price was not as stated on the website, it was double. When questioning this, the tutor explained that there was not enough room on the website to state the price of individual classes and group classes. If we would've known the actual price at first then we wouldn't have wasted our time. We feel dissatisfied with the service.”
