“The thing I like about First Tutors is that I could read detail about each Tutor to help me with my selection. My choice in the end wasn't the nearest Tutor but one I believed to be more suited to me overall. It was not a matter of finding the nearest Tutor but one that suited my requirements and personality and 'First Tutors' helped me achieve this very well.”

“Extremely disappointed. I placed an advert as I was seeking a tutor who might have had availability on the days that I specified. I was then contacted by 3 tutors, 2 were out of my travelling range and one then offered me lessons via Skype. I purchased the tutor's details and hoped to start lessons with them but they then contacted me to say that they were only available during the day and had therefore clearly not read my specifications. I have had my time and money wasted and feel extremely let down.”

“Iryna is a very warm and friendly professional. Despite the limited time we had to practice, she was able to pass on a significant amount of information. She is very professional, polite and understanding. Her knowledge and simple guidelines reassured me that it was a good decision choosing her as my violin tutor. “A very pleasant signing up to First Tutors, their web page was extremely informative, and useful in helping me to choose a tutor. Once signed up I was quickly introduced to my chosen tutor and a start date for my tuition quickly followed. I can definitely recommend First Tutors for others who maybe thinking of starting a educational course.”

“When we tried to arrange a location to meet up, the location was continuously removed by the website administrator which became very frustrating. The tutor was aware of the issue and had previously contacted the site administrator about the issue, but it still has not been rectified.”

Dear Michelle, Thank you for your feedback. I'm afraid we do not permit exact meeting points via the private forum. I appreciate this seems like a strict measure, but it is put in place to avoid users bypassing thy system and meeting up prior to payment. In the request, we have a Map and distance calculator which allows you and your tutor to see the distance by road and also the approximate location of the other party. As soon as your tutor has accepted and payment has been made you can discuss specific meeting points.
