“Easy to navigate the site, contacted a suitable tutor and within a day we had exchanged several messages, decided to go ahead and have started our sessions. I had previously tried a different tutor hunt site where I received not a single reply from the specific tutors I had messaged but plenty offers from other tutors I hadn't contacted. I'd be happy to recommend First tutors to anyone looking for a tutor or for anyone looking for pupils!”

“It was great to meet Patricia and have our first lesson. Her communication prior was great so I was well prepared, and the lesson was a nicely paced introduction. Skype worked smoothly, and the format of learning from the book with interludes to discuss specific points or elements of the language / pronunciation was a good way to learn. I'm looking forward to the next lesson, and will do my homework in the meantime! Obrigada!”

“I have never used a professional and reliable website like First Tutors and If you contact their operators for any necessity, they give answers in a couple of minutes. It is quite unreal how they work and take care for their customers.”

“Hi, I first contacted Akulah and she said she had "quite a lot of availability at the moment" After exchanging emails we arranged for her to start last Friday. She was also keen that my daughter had two hours tuition a week for it to be worth her while. I felt that was too long and we agreed on an hour and half. She is the most expensive by a long way and felt a little pressured to agree to longer than I's actually wanted. On Friday morning I received an email saying she was unable to make the appointment. It seems she now feels she doesn't have much availability after all and her timetable may change next year anyway... I have now contacted Rhodri and would like to hire him but I really don't want to have to pay you again. I feel my time has been wasted Regards Claire Bush”

“It is useful to have the ability to post your requirements and have the tutors contact me. I found a good Chinese tutor from this website and I will use it again to find other tutors. But not all tutors have reviews and photos so that is the only part I was hoping to see. It will be helpful to also see the actual certificate from teacher under the teacher’s qualification for assurance.”
