“A very useful way of finding a language tutor. Once I had found a tutor I was surprised to find I had to pay £20 to obtain contact details, but I guess it was worth it. I could not find an equivalent tutor on any other site.”

“We found 2 great looking tutors on the site - and found the site straightforward to use. I hadn't appreciated initially that we had to pay an upfront fee just to talk to tutors that we may then not actually use - hence the 4 stars . So it could be an expensive way of locating a tutor . That said hopefully we have found a great Tutor so a worthwhile investment. The process itself was very straightforward and I got very quick responses from all we contacted”

“My son Fraser was struggling with his GCSE English he wasn't getting a pass mark. We found Deborah John-Charles Parkes on First Tutors. He did online lessons every week and Fraser really enjoyed every lesson, Deborah was so supportive and Fraser grew with confidence. today he received his results and gained a 6 in both Literature and Language. We are so grateful to have found Deborah.”

Dear Stacey, Thank you for your feedback. We charge a finder's fee once you have discussed all tuition details with your tutor and you are happy to proceed with them. The finder's fee covers security checks on all our tutors and safety on the site. “Great site to be confident to get the right Tutor John Hill reliable , flexible and know his subjects! Tailored tutoring to suit child’s needs helping confidence n knowledge. My daughter was failing at ALevel Physics n Maths in Sept 21 had tutor Nov-May with holidays n just achieved A-Level C Physics B Maths getting 1st choice at University but actually been accepted onto Degree Apprenticeship! also. Definitely brought her back from the brink!”

“Excellent service. Clear instructions. Easy to contact chosen tutor. Care taken to keep personal info secure. Reasonable fee. Appreciated that no unsolicited calls to push services or unsolicited emails. This was an annoying factor with some other agencies! Would definitely use First Tutors again.”

“We have found a great tutor close by for our daughter through First Tutors although I do believe the connection fee should be less. Your paying a large amount per hour without the £25 before you start maybe reduce to £20”

“I have to say that I was anxious about this to begin with, as the site was unknown to me. But I am really impressed and would recommend it to anyone. It’s cleverly thought out and works well to allow you to connect with tutors quickly and easily without either of you having to swap lots of personal information. Filtering on your exact requirements is really helpful too. We’re really happy with our experience and have managed to find a lovely tutor using this website.”

“The website was very helpful and I found a really good tutor who suits my learning style. I had to pay a fee to receive the tutor's details, but I was happy to do so as I would rather find someone of a high standard to tutor me (the internet can be tricky to trust on these things)! I am happy with the process and service provided by First Tutors.”
