“Recommend FirstTutors but be are that there is no certainty that your selected tutor will fulfill their side of the agreement. Very wisely FirstTutors do not get involved in your arrangements.”

Dear Steve, Thank you for your feedback. I'm afraid we haven't received an email from you to advise about your problem so we were unable to help. We have a set procedure to follow when a tutor lets you down in some way. I have now sent you an email explaining how to claim another tutor free of charge. “An excellent way to find a tutor! My only issue is that the fee charged by the tutor isn't always up to date, so I would suggest that anyone using the site should check that with the tutor before booking lessons!”

“I recently paid £14.99 for Fabienne, got her address and discovered that she only does tutoring at her home. Therefore I decided not to use her. Can you tell me how I get the £14.99 refunded? Many thanks Kirsten Rees”

“I like that with First Tutors you are in control as a customer. First Tutors let me select a tutor and check whether they were available and suitable. With all other sites I had to create a profile and if the first tutor was not contactable or unavailable then I got spammed with other tutors that I had not selected.”
