“When I looking for a tutor for my children first thing in My mind would be First tutor as this website provide Tutor qualifications, reviews from parents and students and Especially pictures of them. Of course sometime you can’t find the right tutor you looking for at first time but no worried First tutor never left us behind,I find out that they have a team that help to solve my problem step by step, friendly, and patient, and accurate, many thanks to First tutor my chosen didn’t finish yet but I feel very secure and supportive here and will recommend First tutor to all friend and family many thanks to First tutor and everyone in the team. Without this website all parents could be at risk looking for a tutor on the free website where it is insecure and no support especially when you have them in your place. Kind regards”

“I engaged the Tutor on 10th October and by 30th October, no lessons had been undertaken because he needed essays from my son to rate him. I didn't find that to be a good reason for not commencing lessons by an experienced Tutor. Because we differ in approach and never had any lessons from him, I don't have a solid basis for reviewing his performance.”

“I was appalled to find out that I had to pay nearly £25 per tutor before I even had a chance to do a trial lesson. I would have happily paid such a fee once I’d had trial lessons with different tutors to choose from, but to charge £25 per tutor just to have a trial lesson was outrageous. How could anyone assess the true quality of tutors just by using the messaging platform provided by First Tutors? I gave 2 stars only because the company’s database does provide good profiles of prospective tutors and the search function was easy to use.”

Only when you are happy with your choice in tutor do we ask for a fee to release their contact details. Our fee's help cover the cost of identity and reference checks on all registered tutors. Unlike traditional agencies, First Tutors do not charge commission to the student or the tutor - making us an affordable player on the market. “Selecting a tutor was easy, the contact tutor was unclear. After I selected contact tutor, I assumed an email would automatically go to the tutor, it was only later I saw that I needed to send. Maybe something I misunderstood, but thought it could be clearer. Most of the tutors came back promptly and it was easy to clarify availability skill level etc.”
