“My son was buzzing with enthusiasm when Rebecca left. She was focused, well organised, straight to the task, recognised gaps in his knowledge, great manner, kind. Arrived early and was already prepared to cover the basics until I ascertain from school where the weaknesses are. A great start, and I am hoping Rebecca will help his confidence in Maths and Science. Very pleased.”

“First tutors site is easy to use and has a selection of tutors from which to choose. Feedback on tutors is available to view together with information on the fees, distance you would have to travel to the tutor or them to you.I have used the site several times now and been very happy with the tutors I have selected.”

“This was a very useful site to locate local tutors. It was fairly straightforward to use but not totally clear how fees were charged (site basically charges a finder's fee once you select a tutor and then you have their contact details). It felt slightly clunky having to open a query and do dialogue through the chat function, and it wasn't immediately clear how to close a query if we decided against a tutor for reasons of practicality. Overall, I would use the site again.”

“I contacted 6 tutors. The tutor’s responses were really quick. There was only one who didn’t give me a reply. I bought three tutors details. After we met online, unfortunately, one of them said he couldn’t start due to unforeseen circumstances, and the other told me she was too busy now and was only able to start after two months from now. Luckily, the first tutor I contacted and bought her details was a well experienced and reliable teacher and we’ve decided to continue. Overall, it wasn’t easy to find a right tutor online, but I had a good experience with First Tutors.”
