"Be wary of internet purchases with this company. Wanted a stovax multi fuel stove and most suppliers honesty declared it as out of stock which was not suitable for our timescales. FLAMES advertised it as in stock and ready to buy. Placed the order and paid in full. Next day they emailed to say the manufacturer is unable to supply the item for some weeks and they have no stock, Checked their listing for the stove again and it still showed as in stock!\r\nWhen we questioned this they said they just declare in stock because most customers don't mind waiting!\r\nThey used the excuse that quoted delivery times may change and that they make this clear at checkout. But they refused to accept that this is not the same as pretending to have stock when they do not.\r\nThis is a typical bait and switch advertising trick. They tell you they have stock, you order it in good faith and then they tell you they don't have stock when they have your money. Do not trust their listings!"
