Great wear layer and printing/texturing. The locking system on the sample had a couple chunks taken out on the ends which is a bit concerning. I'm not sure if that was from cutting or shipping.

We ordered several samples from Flooret and were impressed with the quality. We have also ordered samples from competitors, and Flooret seems to be the clear winner. Samples seem to be scratch resistant with only a few marks after scratching them vigorously with keys. Overall, a very nice product.

Samples look beautiful. We simply have to decide between base and signature for our new home.

The floor samples arrived quickly and packed very well. The quality of the floors is amazing and it was great to have full pieces to decide on a design.

We did our entire basement including the steps and it turned out amazing. I just ordered several samples in additional colors for our upstairs. Installation wasn’t difficult. Easy to clean. The wide planks are stunning.

Ordered 3 samples of LVP and got 3 additional for free! We loved the flooring, we’re even more impressed with it in person. The reason for the low mark is that my project requires placing the flooring on stairs. After contacting Modin, I was informed that stair nose samples were not offered in and couldn’t be accommodated. Of course this is an issue because doing stairs is expensive and not covered well by online content/videos. We haven’t ordered floors yet due to my concerns around how the different stair trim profiles will work with my existing steps.

I’ve ordered samples from multiple brands and was so pleased with the extra effort and quality the Flooret team has put into their brand. They’ve been quick to respond with my questions and we’re excited to use Flooret for the majority of our new home!

I was so impressed with the samples I received. They came so quickly and the samples were large and really showed the quality of the floors. I used the buy one get one free coupon so I received 6 samples for only $9. At a local floor store, I paid $5 for only one plank. I’m glad I did though because I was able to see the difference in the thickness, depth of color, and the superior underlayment! Thanks for making it so easy to choose; I can’t go wrong because they were all so beautiful…

The samples were great! I really like all the colors. Very fresh & in style. I was just bummed that in the craftsman sample, the grooves didn’t match the design on the wood. That’s the only thing holding me back from ordering. Other than that, they seem great!

The samples that are sent are cut well - and actually give you a sense of what the flooring might look like in your own home, instead of a 4x4 square that many other retailers send you after roughly cutting it from an existing plank! These samples are big enough for you to try out in different spaces, stand on, dunk in water, spill milk over - whatever you'd like to do to actually try stressing out the material before you spend thousands on a new floor. These samples really tell the Flooret quality & customer service story.

Quality for quality, prices are very competitive. Ranges of wood grain and color are impressive with a realistic wood grain appearance. I liked the simplicity in ordering samples. However, it is important to order multiple samples in order to get a sense of the variability of the grain, and to see the ACTUAL color which can differ significantly from the website images.

My impression is they are a superior built product and I like the large planks, as they will make the installation process significantly quicker. Still deciding between two colors. Ordered samples on two occasions. First selections were not as dark as I thought they would be, so ordered a couple more darker selections. Note, I would suggest only order a max of four full-size sample planks at a time; my first package had six planks and the bottom corner of the box had some minor damage (not to the primary surface of the plank, but was to the corner of the locking tabs on several boards - can't see the damage when locked together, but wonder how might effect waterproof-ness where two boards interlock -- no biggy as can use these for end cuts during installation) presumably done by the shipping company due to the awkward size and weight. Next sample order only had four planks and faired a bit better. I assume a larger order is freight shipped on pallets, so rough handling of a long, awkward box should not be applicable. I wish website had larger, zoomable pics of full rooms with various choices of product installed (probably a way to do it, but compared to other sites zoomable feature for product pics, any extra user manipulation of pics on Flooret site is not as user friendly as they could be). Some of the detail on some of the boards was hard to discern from pics currently available. After receiving the sample, I went back and took another look at one of the samples to see the impression detail .. I missed the subtleness in the available photos, and would have not ordered that particular sample had I noticed it online.

We loved our full-length samples, the quality was amazing and it made our decision so much easier. We are moving forward with Kingswood Base for our new addition and the entire first floor.

Samples arrived well packaged and quickly. The size of them are large which a welcomed surprise, compared to the small samples often found at big box stores.

I installed both Soho (kitchen/family room area) and Kingwood (bedrooms) flooring in my home. The floors look great but I have 2 major issues. 1) the floor isn't as easy to install as other click-lock floating floors. I've installed several click-lock floating floors in the past (including long planks) and these floors are a bit of a struggle to lay down; I had to use my hammer more than I liked. If this was the only issue then I'd likely give 4 stars. I also noticed that the edges (click-lock mechanism) is pretty fragile; edge pieces break off fairly easily. I expected these edges to be more durable. Once installed, I don't see this being an issue but during installation, it was a bit of a pain. 2) the floors were delivered much later than anticipated (several months late). I understand that covid has messed up supply chains world-wide but I feel that the customer service from this company could have been better. I spent well over $10k on flooring and communication from this company was very limited. The floor delays caused a series of issues with my project and in the end I lost my contractor and ended up installing the floors myself. I don't blame flooret completely but I do feel the communications could have been better.

I received samples of several of the signature and base Modin planks. My favorite colors were Kingswood and Nakan. Soho was disappointingly lighter than many of the online pictures showed — very blonde. Nakan is also a bit lighter than I prefer, though a nice color for a Scandinavian look. I liked Brenwick, and if I was going for a darker floor it would be a top choice. I was hoping for a warmer (red/orange) tone in the Kingswood, but it reads more grey/brown in my space. I do like the 20 and 40 mil wear layer options as well as recyclability that this product offers. I personally prefer the slightly thicker (easier to install) Signature planks, especially because the bevels are more noticeable. They are almost invisible in the base line. I’m going to look around a bit more at other brands first since none of these color samples is quite wowing me in my home lighting. The product specs, however, are appealing.
