I ordered a hamper for my brother’s Xmas present on 12 Dec and it arrived on 31 Dec so no use at all as I won’t see him for months now. Customer service was shocking. For £65 the contents of the hamper were a complete rip off. Always happy to support independent sector but not for such a poor experience

I regret ordering Christmas hamper from this place. The order was placed on 11th dec and there are still no updates or sign of any delivery. They will respond to your email and calls with automated messages. I am still trying to chase them about my order in the new year, as it still hasn’t been delivered. I ordered a gift for my family and it is embarrassing as it never reached them even before the new year. Pathetic customer service, please do not waste your time and money and order from elsewhere.

I still haven't received anything at all. I placed the two orders as part of Christmas presents! Very disappointed indeed.

Ordered on 9th December. Am still yet to receive my order despite recivieing emails to say it has been dispatched twice. I know that Christmas is an extremely busy time but very disappointed my order still hasnt arrived

Order placed 8th December, received 2nd Jan. Emailed, just automated response. Called, no answer. Tweeted, no response. I had gift voucher I applied to the purchase. Had I paid the full £45 for what I have received, I'd be feeling very hard done by. All in all, absolute rubbish.

Hamper was never delivered. Customer service non existent. No reply let alone a refund. Would advise against buying from them

Took almost 3 weeks to arrive. Missed the opportunity to give it to the intended recipients due to the delivery being so late. Was told it was being shipped and still had to wait another week for it arrive. Products don't appear to offer value for money for the price paid. No contact as yet from BoroughBox despite emailing them. Would not recommend.

Considering my order was placed on the 9 Dec and still hasn't been delivered I have been wondering if Borough box even exists. An update would be greatly appreciated. If this is not going to be delivered soon could you please arrange a refund.

We have not even had delivery of the hamper (scheduled to be delivered 21st December). I understand that there are delays, but the communication has been very poor and now I am asked to write a review before we have even had the hamper delivered to our family we can’t be with!!!!!

Not at all happy. The gift box I ordered from Waitrose to be delivered has not turned up. The delivery address was to Mrs. R. Mackenzie, Stonecutters Cottage, 50 High Street, Shrivenham, Wiltshire, SN6 8AA - the house next to the chemist. Please deliver as soon as possible and confirm delivery. Pearl Inglis

Your service has been extremely poor. Our Order #100124310 for Cian Brown of the 9th December has still NOT been delivered. Nor has that of Olivia Cropper who ordered a box for the same address. Please chase up your delivery firm and see what has happened. Colin Carlin

Extremely disappointing customer experience. My order failed to arrive before Christmas. Despite been ordered several weeks before.It still has not arrived almost four weeks after it was ordered.

Not recommended at all. Ordered Toppings Pie Christmas selections, which stated in website delivery would not be made until 18th-23rd December. I also requested separately to make sure products not despatched until after 18th December, as needed fresh for hamper gifts. Products arrived on 12th December with BBF dates of 17th December. Contacted both Boroughbox and Toppings Pies numerous times, as could not accept delivery, but no answer. Luckily paid via PayPal who are dealing with this now. Boroughbox just won’t answer any queries.

Placed an order nearly seven weeks ago; still haven’t received it. Had to chase up repeatedly and was promised it would arrive by Christmas. It didn’t. I did receive Someone else’s order after waiting for five weeks (of an estimated 3-5 day delivery). Radio silence from Borough Box since then. Still don’t have my order, but have a huge, unwanted box of someone else’s order blocking my hallway.

Absolutely appalling. I ordered a Christmas hamper on December 10th for my grandmother and it arrived on the 30th!
