I buy my favourite French Comte Cheese through BoroughBox and three service is superb. It is so rewarding to support independent suppliers and they meet all the deadlines and ensure my cheese is perfectly and safely packaged and delivered by couriers. I cannot speak highly enough about them.

I bought a luxury hamper for my husbands birthday and he/we totally loved the quality of the cheeses, crackers, chutney and wine. It was a wonderful treat to enjoy superior products at reasonable prices, delivered direct to your door.

Very efficient in responding and delivering . The box was a gift and the recipients reported that they were delighted with the ingredients., 'wholesome' and tasty. I would be happy to use it again.

It was what our grandson wanted for Christmas. I was not sure where the parcel was coming from the UK and whether it would arrive intime although it was ordered several weeks in advance.

Presently I haven't opened & used my purchase as it was bought as a backup supply in case of pandemic/weather conditions preventing our access to our usual retail outlets. I can write a meaningful review when I have used the product.

Lovely gift ideas, well presented and delivered in a reasonable time. I ordered the Remy Martin tasting box which had two miniatures of the cognac, some cheese, chocolate some chutney and a card describing everything. It was well packaged in a gift box and again in a delivery box so everything kept nice and secure. I will certainly be going back to check out other things available and can highly recommend.

I was really looking forward to shopping from independent producers of interesting items. Despite numerous emails to ask about where my order was I received no reply. Once it had arrived, I was sent an email to ask for feedback, asking me to email if I had any problems, instead of leaving a review. I emailed 2 months ago and still have no response. The products I ordered were great, but some were much too late. Such a shame!

I have seen and responded to your email now and I apologise again for this lack of communication you received with your order and hope that we have compensated you some of the way to make up for this. We were under a huge amount of pressure during Christmas and very understaffed due to Covid restrictions, so I'm very sorry again that this meant you didn't receive the help you needed. I'm glad at least the products were enjoyed, and I hope that we can provide you with our usually great customer service next time.

Hi there, I'm so sorry your order arrived later than intended and that it missed the recipient's birthday. We were experiencing severe delays at the start of January after Christmas, when your order was placed, with the huge backlog of orders and delays with our couriers. Though I don't want to make excuses and I have now refunded you for the shipping cost of your order as it arrived late. Thanks for your feedback.

Gift was delivered within our requested time frame. From the photos we received & the happy as thanks our daughter gave....it appeared that our chosen & consequently delivered gift was exactly as advertised. Our daughter was HAPPY AS & THAT MEANT SO SO WERE WE... THANK YOU BOROUGH BOX...

I've received my items broken and emailed customer service about it, with photos included. Nearly two months later I still haven't received a reply neither a refund! The company asks customers not to contact them until they receive a reply to their initial query but they never responded to mine. Bad customer service, very disappointed!!

I have now issued your a £1 refund for the broken candy cane. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Very pleased with the box. Good prompt delivery. My only issue would be the cost of postage to Northern Ireland makes it so much more expensive. Was a gift for a friend and he was delighted. Would certainly recommend.

really disappointing. Ordered a Vegan Box as a treat for my wife as she was doing Veganuary and they supplied an entirely different selection of items which were neither vegan nor vegetarian friendly. When I flagged this to them, they simply apologised that they were busy at the time. No offer of a refund or replacement. Incredibly poor customer service.

Ordered the gin making kit for a friend! Absolutely thrilled as it was packaged in materials which you could recycle and I loved the handwritten label, so personal, a wonderful touch; the contents were top quality with a great bottle, complete with label and laminated instructions ( how thoughtful and practical!). The recipe also included suggestions for re-using the sloes for other tipples which again is making the most of the contents. Superb value for money! I am now a huge fan of your products and your philosophy and I have recommended you to all my friends and family! Thanks to the whole team and all the best in these challenging times.

I’m truly so upset - I understand that we are in unprecedented times, but, putting an option to choose day of delivery should be removed from your site as there will be a lot of disappointed customers, as I clicked the 12th- today is the 14th and the item hasn’t even been dispatched out of warehouse. I even chose the day two days earlier than the recipients birthday in recognition that delivery is harder in covid. I spoke to spoke someone in customer service to resolve this as this was a gift, where I merely received an apology and 10 percent discount code for my next order. Unreliable, will not use company again.

Hi there, I have just looked into this for you and I'm so sorry again that your order arrived a day after the recipient's birthday. Although you did specify the 12th Jan for delivery we do have a note on the website to notify customers there may be some delays on delivery times an to keep this in consideration. All that said, I know it's disappointing that the gift was delivered late and I can see we offered you a 15% discount code to use as an apology so I hope this can go some of the way to compensate for the inconvenience caused.
