“I just tried to order fresh green chile, which I order every year from NM living in Colorado and I roasting my own. The cost of product was $130 and I expected a shipping cost of under $75, so I was stunned total went up to $650! Who would pay that much?? That is robbery and needs to be addressed, this is going on Yelp and anyplace I can review this insanity. Do not order from this site until they get real!!”

“I live in North Carolina. I seen all the videos on Facebook of Randy saying the 575 red and green was so great. I ordered 2 jars of the red and when it came in, it was 575 green. I messaged customer service with a picture of the receipt and the jars of green. They responded to my message. They were very apologetic, and let me keep the 575 green and sent me the 575 red. Very professional! Needless to say, I had to try the 575 green on a burger, and it was awesome!! Very very satisfied all around. Not cheap getting to North Carolina, but I am a fan and customer for life. Rick”

“Horrible, non authentic, bad advertising no free shipping! Got gift certificate for Christmas. Didn’t have the heart to tell her how skimpy and overpriced the products were. Red chile sauce tasted like red bell peppers, green dehydrated, flavor disappeared in caldo and dried hominy didn’t come with directions or how to portion. I was raised in the Mesilla Valley and know good authentic chili products. What a major disappointment!”

“These chiles make great green chili with some browned pork, more garlic and then letting it simmer for an hour or so. I don't have to go through the brain damage of starting from scratch for some great green chili. I just placed my second order because I don't ever want to run out! I am so happy I found you because you saved me hours of cooking over a hot stove.”

“Bought the medium green and the mild red and green. Have only tried the mild so far and the taste is very good. The mild is much hotter than you’d expect. So for the average person if you typically like your heat about medium, the mild is that. I expect the medium is going to be quite hot.”

“Wow… do I miss the Southwest flavors, until now! Moved away in the 90s to Ohio and really missed the green chili’s from my days living in Albuquerque. Years have gone by and finally decided to try ordering some Hatch Green Chili and found this company. Received our first 6-pack the other day and opened two jars so far…. Both were excellent and bursting with fresh flavors oh my! Thank you to this co for doing such a great job from the elaborate packaging that they all easily arrived to us safely and to the absolute best flavors we have tasted in years.”

“I ordered on Jan. 1 and was supposed to get my order on Jan. 16th. On the 16th, I looked at the tracking information and saw the package had to be brought back to the supplier because part of the order broke (presumably one of the two jars). I made a review on Facebook, and for show, the company pretended to offer me a full refund and the jars. I thought that was amenable enough, but when I emailed the company, they said it was one or the other: get a reshipment OR the refund. Then, they blocked me on Facebook. Immature. I was always kind and patient with them in my emails until they refused offer any kind of help for my order taking forever.”

“I love the product. Occasionally I can buy it at a local grocery store, however they don't carry it often enough. I came to order online until I read the reviews about receiving the product directly and I won't be buying until the reviews change.”

“LOVE the product. I’ve gone through several jars of the Matador green. Their advertising is super; that’s what got me to finally order despite the high shipping costs. But they need to do a lot better at customer service. Shipping is SLOW (as in my last order wasn’t even processed until nearly two weeks after payment), and communication is poor.”

“Ordered 4 jars Dec 16th. Emailed and messaged several times no response until a week ago. Company said package was one of several that was lost by UPS.... that's funny, since it says on UPS that company created the label but never dropped off or had a package for UPS to pick up. Company says package has finally shipped, but still waiting...... and waiting and waiting. I regret buying from this company. I know it's a smaller company, but at least be truthful and if you can not fulfill the product, then refund my money, no questions asked or hard feelings!! I can only imagine what the package will look like let alone taste like by the time or if ever I recieve it!! Will not buy from them again. I recommend you don't either, judging by what happened to me and other reviews on this forum!!”

“Two orders of salsa. Said would be shipped in 24 to 48 hours. Never heard if one order had been processed. Finally was able to determine that label had not been printed which was 14 days after one of the salsa orders was made. 2 days later they finally shipped. After searching I was notified that salsa would be delivered which would be 27 days after order was submitted. Will see if that happens. The biggest holdup was processing to day it was actually shipped. I will not purchase again. Other vendors are available. I tried to contact them via email-that was a joke. Phone calls don’t work either. Made two order at same time. One was delivered after 7 day. Will wait and see if other is ever delivered.”

“I wrote a review about getting the wrong product shipped to me. I know that happens sometimes, so I completely understand. But I wrote that I emailed the issue and hadn't heard anything back in four days. Well, I was wrong, I found the email of correct product being shipped. This is just the second of many future orders from Fresh Chile. The Green Chile is absolutely awesome. I went through a jar pretty quick. I've ordered two more, plus a red and green Chile mix. 💯 recommend.”

“I haven't tried all their products, but the ones I have are fantastic. The flavor is noticeably richer than the other better-known Hatch brands I've used for years. My favorite so far is the Red and Green Blend. I grew up in NM and I live and breathe green chile, so I know of what I speak. The Fresh Chile Company is my only go-to source for the "real thing" in Hatch chile.”
