“I have never made Kefir before and did online research to find out how to make our own. I ordered the starter from Freshly Fermented and chose the larger pack - enough to ferment 1pt of milk. It arrived on time, looked rather odd in a small plastic bag, but as an act of faith I followed the instructions and 2 days later we had excellent creamy kefir. For the last 3 weeks we have enjoyed freshly fermented chilled kefir everyday. We like to add 3 or4 strawberries and blend, it makes a lovely, satisfying and we believe healthy drink. Surprisingly, drinking an extra 1/2 pt fermented whole milk daily has not so far caused weight gain. Can confidently recommend freshly fermented milk starter to family, to friends and to you.”
