“Having had great success with kefir grains, from Freshly Fermented, and yeast being difficult to obtain, I purchased Alaskan sour dough. Quick delivery, and followed instructions, and now have very active sour dough. Tried a white loaf first, which was fine, with a surprisingly quick rise, and today I am doing a whole meal with the same sour dough yeast. So very pleased with Freshly Fermented, for both the kefir grains, which makes a delicious drink, and the sour dough yeast. Witham Pete”

“I ordered milk kefir grains to brew some coconut milk kefir - having not done it before I was unsure of how successful my coconut kefir would be - however the grains I was sent have worked wonderfully and the service and information on the website was great.”

“We ordered sourdough starter which arrived promptly despite COVID. The instructions were very good, which was necessary for someone who has not previously made sourdough bread. The recipe provided was essential. It took a few goes to get it right but we are very pleased with the result and can certainly recommend the company.”

“After years of trying to make my own sourdough starters and getting mixed results, I decided to see if I could get better bread out of buying one online. Very happy I took that decision! I bought the white sourdough starter from these guys. It was dispatched and arrived quickly, and has given me the best sourdough results I've had yet! Thank you freshly fermented.”

“I cannot rate Freshly Fermented highly enough. They despatched my scoby in decent time (even during the pandemic) and when it yielded a mouldy brew, reassured me that it was a once-in-200 cases issue and promised to send another free of cost. Sure enough, it arrived and I'm trying it now. Altogether, the service and responsiveness is excellent.”
