“My order came quickly (considering coronavirus issues) but I had follow up issues (likely due to my own errors in handling, must stress product worked) and emailed the company. I didn't get any response at all. Wouldn't deal with them again because customer service is just so important. EDIT - Apparently they had answered my email - perhaps to wrong address - and they have immediately and satisfactorily followed up this review. I've added a star.”

“Really good informative website, quick delivery and best of all, it all worked for me just beautifully! I bought both sourdough starter and a yoghurt maker. The Bulgarian yoghurt is really nice - I haven't tried the Russian yet. I followed the instructions for no knead sourdough, cooked it in my le creuset pot and it rose up quite well first time - tasty too. The second time it had 36 hours in the fridge and was perfect. To get the big holes be careful not to fold it too much at the end. Never thought I'd bake bread - this lockdown changes all of us.”

“My parcel never arrived, initially customer services were very helpful, no answer when I tried to ring to sort out replacement order. So no refund and no delivery. Disappointed”

“A very good starter. Gets going very quickly once taken out of the fridge. The bread has a lovely flavour and texture. Still experimenting to find the sour dough technique I am happiest with.”

“The keffir grains I ordered initially looked to be a very small amount, however within the space of a couple of weeks in milk they have bulked up significantly and have produced loads of yummy keffir. The packing was great and the grains are obviously from healthy stock - great value for money.”

“Absolutely excellent service; I was kept informed of the progress of my order and everything arrived securely packaged. My SCOBY is now on her 3rd batch of kombucha and San Francisco sourdough starter has given us banana bread, loaves and is a lovely, bubbly addition to our family. Thank you!”
