“I bought 2, 1 for my Starbucks, which fits my Trenta cup PERFECTLY, I use it every morning, the other cup I bought I thought fit all cans, so I pulled it out to use this Labor Day weekend and all I could use it for were bottles? I never thought about it but the top is the size of a skinny seltzer can which I couldn’t even use with one? IDK what I’m doing wrong or maybe I didn’t get the right top but $40 is a lot to spend on just a beer bottle holder☹️”
“I ordered the 40oz bottle and instead received a 32oz bottle. I emailed customer service and they were kind enough to send me another bottle but unfortunately the second bottle was also a 32oz bottle. I'm not sure if they do not have 40oz bottles available or what the issue was but I ended up with 2 bottles and neither bottle is the correct size.
The bottle itself is good with a couple of minor issues:
1- it will not keep your drink cold for 24 hours as advertised - at most it will remain cold for 8-12 hours depending on whether you are outside in the heat or inside with an air conditioner.
2- the cap has an air vent that has a little rubber insert which allows air in for the suction action but stop water from dripping out. The rubber insert came with no hole through it so I was unable to suck the water out of the bottle at the beginning. I then used a toothpick to make a hole through the rubber insert which allowed the water to be sucked through the straw, however, the suction action is not smooth. you have to suck hard to get the water through the straw.
The bottle itself looks nice and the accessories (the rubber bumper and paracord handle) are great. However for the being sent the wrong bottle twice and the small issues with the bottle were a deal breaker for me. I will be returning the bottle.
P.S. I had purchased a 40oz bottle from amazon (hydro cell) for $26 that performs much better than the frost buddy and is available in different sizes.”
“I accidentally ordered more than I needed. Less than 5 minutes after the order I messaged them to see if they could adjust my order and they said it has already been processed. Now I can’t find where to return the ones I don’t need.”
“Not really a fan of the water bottle I bought my daughter for school. I was looking for one that didn’t leak and kept ice but the one I bought her leaks and it does not keep ice in it by the time she gets home from school.”
“It didn't keep my bottle of water cold.I had a training class to go to and i put my cold bottle of water in the frost buddy and when my training was done 5 hrs later my water was warm and my class was air condition. VERY DISAPPOINTED was hoping to find something that would keep my drinks cold but apparently you are just like the rest of the bottle holders.”
“I was excited to get my frost buddy, but when I realized that I paid so much for essentially a lid, I was disappointed. It is easier to use my Brumate, and the other cups are better quality. The cup gets so heavy. Not worth it. Just sell the lid.”
“I ordered 2 of the Joe Buddy’s last week and my girlfriend put hot tea in hers and the lid would not stay on. I’m sure the one I bought for me that I will be putting iced coffee in will work fine but she drinks her drinks hot and it does not work correctly. I looked up Buddies return policy and it doesn’t sound like you would not return it. I wasn’t happy.”
“It's not what I expected, it's very difficult to drink out of. I originally bought 3, one for myself and the other two were going to be Birthday gifts. I decided to just keep them. The lid is difficult to secure with 12oz bottles.”
“I have owned many Frost Buddy’s and I am sad to say I will not buy anymore. The quality has gone down significantly and the straps don’t even come with the compass. Same price, cheaper quality.”
“The ordering process was extremely easy. After I ordered I had to download the Shop app the track the package (I paid extra for shipping protection).
I placed my order June 15th and did not actually receive it until July 30th. I contacted the company through email to see if they could provide tracking information on two different occasions. Neither time did they provide any helpful information. I turned to their VIP Facebook page to see if there was anyone else who had to deal with this. They denied my comment because it didn't rave about their product.
The product is nice but not worth the hassle of wondering if I'm actually going to receive it.”
