“I ordered 20 peonies. I received 10 wilted peonies. I was offered a 30% discount. I declined and they offered 50% off. I was using the bouquet to test a tablescape, so they offered to resend. When they resent, they sent 9 out of the 20 peonies. They again offered a 30% discount and I declined. They offered a 50% discount and I declined. They finally transferred me to a manager. She spent 5 minutes verifying information. I explained the situation - less than half of the stems were sent. She told me she had to track the order and put me on hold for a few minutes. She came back and said the peonies would take a few days to bloom because they were delivered by UPS. She clearly was not listening to anything that I told her. After being on the phone for a half hour I was refunded. ”
“Had flowers delivered today for wife's birthday. The arrangement was pretty but a little smaller than expected. The vase only had a few inches of water so we immediately exchanged the water and filled the vase 3/4 way. Added sugar and vinegar as no food pack was provided. Now, here is the real issue: the flowers smell musty, like they just came from a funeral home. Smelled awful. Will never do business with FTD again. They are not cheap, I expected so much more, at least flowers that smell like flowers.”
“My flowers were not delivered to the correct address. They were for a funeral and burial service. They missed it completely. Very disappointed! I called that morning to verify it was being delivered to the correct address and they verified it with me but did not give me the florist's name or check with them directly. Everything I could do myself online. No help at all! This was very important. The address was to a very well-known funeral home so not sure why the mishap. They delivered the flowers to a closed business that had nothing to do with this place and 2 miles away. It took me hours to get this sorted out. They never offered to fix correctly just sorry, and we will contact the florist. Also, they then proceeded to say they could not do a redelivery to the funeral home and needed to deliver to my home address. It NEVER SHOWED!! Days later the widow let me know the funeral home finally received the flowers there. ???? I thought they couldn't deliver to the funeral home which I kept asking for. Then no communication they were delivering the flowers there instead of my home address. Bad customer service! Also, now that I know the florist Mt. Scott Fowers, I would never recommend them as well. I placed my order 4 days prior, and they should not have had a problem. I called the morning of to confirm too. Don't order from FTD!! Even after getting a discount with Groupon, it is not worth it! Call your florist directly!!!”
“Gorgeous Flowers arrived at our door for our 25th Anniversary! However 2days later some of the Flowers were already drooping and by day 4 a large portion of the flowers were done showing their Beauty! For $110 for a mixed flower arrangement, I was surprised, expecting them to last at least a week. Didn't even get the packet of solution to help them keep longer! The local grocery store flowers are much better at less than half the price!”
“I placed 2 orders as a birthday gift, one for me and one for my sister, and they delivered one and cancelled the other saying they needed bank verification on bank letterhead. They said they called but this was a complete lie because my phone showed no phone call and no voicemails from FTD. I verified they had the correct number so no excuse!! When I asked why one would be filled and the other order cancelled they had no response. Really infuriating!! FTD doesn't seem to care about the impact of their behaviors and doesn't deserve you money.”
“4th delivery delayed since January. No attempt to make it right. Horrible customer service. Missed birthdays and funerals. Utter lack of care for their customers. There are other more reliable vendors and gift and flower delivery services out there. I will take my business elsewhere.”
“On March 12, 2025, I realized that I couldn't attend my oldest friend's birthday dinner in another state. I decided to send flowers. I ordered 36 long stemmed yellow roses at a cost of a little over $200 to be delivered on Friday, March 14. My friend texted me a thank you with a picture attached.
There were only a dozen flowers delivered. I was embarrassed and angry. I immediately used the contact form on the FTD email and provided my order#, my email address & my phone #. I asked for a refund. Today is March 19. I have heard nothing nor have I received a refund. All the response I have received are daily marketing emails. I will never use FTD again. And now I will get American Express involved. This is pitiful service and horrible customer service. This is wrong.”
“SCAM!! Placed original order and says it got delivered but never did so then I called them. They said they would deliver it the next day. Didn't happen so I called again. They said they would give me a partial refund and REDELIVER it for a third time. Still didn't happen!! Never ordering here again”
“I ordered the most expensive "you're precious" bouquet, in the "exquisite" category for $147.47 and my daughter received them.They were missing at least 1/3 of the flowers compared to the advertisement and they looked like someone had just picked them up and stuck them in a vase. They were not arranged at all. COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT. Don't recommend using FTD. I Could've bought 3 prettier bouquets at the grocery store for the price I paid for the bouquet she received.”
“WOW! Just WOW! I ordered flowers which were said to be delivered on 3/17 for my wife’s birthday. The day past and no flowers and no communication. I spoke with customer service on the 18th and they said they would be delivered on the 18th. I was given a small refund. Guess what? No flowers again. I am appalled by the lack of communication. A simple email saying nobody can deliver in the area, would have been just fine. What happened to customer service? Booooo!”
“Order Bejeweled flower which show 90% and paid a lot for them. My friend received pink and yellow tulips. What a rip off. Then they only refund 25% of my order. Did not even offer to send new flowers or give me 100% refund. Terrible service”
“I cannot express enough how awful of an experience this was. I ordered a large bouquet for my mother's birthday. Come day of delivery, I had to call 15-minutes before the delivery window ended at 8:00 PM (9:00AM-8:00PM delivery window). The receptionist was incredibly apathetic, but offered a refund of my shipping/delivery fee ($24.98) and a rescheduled delivery to the next day. I received an email early the next morning notifying me of a refund of $5.48. That doesn't even cover taxes for the order. I call back to simply cancel the entire order and get a full refund. Again, totally apathetic customer service rep. Went back and forth and tried to offer 30% refund. Finally got it fully cancelled and the refund in processing... If I will actually get all of my money back, we will see... Will NEVER order here again and highly recommend you don't either. Awful experience.”

“There is no correlation between the delivery date requested to the actual delivery date. Instead their standard response is that they have a list of priorities, and you as their paying customer do not meet those priorities. My gift was delivered three days after the requested date. No excuses. No apologies. They take incompetency to a whole new level. Will never ever use them again.”

“I ordered sympathy flowers. I picked out the Living Spirit Dish Garden. It was a variety of 3 or 4 plants arranged in a basket with a few blooms added and a bow. I knew that the plants might be different and the bow and the blooms might be different colors based on availability at the time. The arrangement was delivered in a timely manner but was so drab. Although the plants were healthy, there was no bow and there were no blooms which is what made the arrangement beautiful. I wish I knew which florist delivered it, so I could write a review for them specifically. Every arrangement at the funeral outshined the dull, mundane, colorless, dreary arrangement I paid nearly $90.00 for.”
“Ok arrangement but LATE. Delivery issues did not show for the day of delivery as promised/Paid for. Superviser promised a full refund plus free next day delivery. I thought that was amazing. The next day as they promised to deliver they did but never came through on the refund. Then I called to follow up and the said "I refused the refund!" Who would refuse a refund??
My friend did get the flowers but a day late after the event but the arrangement was very pretty.
