“I ordered flowers for a dear friend’s wake that was happening in another state from where I live and I could not attend.
I was supposed to receive an email confirmation once the delivery occurred. I did not receive that confirmation.
When I called customer service, I was told there was “an issue with the florist” and they would not be delivered. They couldn’t even deliver it the next day.
That’s it. That’s all they would tell me.
No notification, nothing.
Had I known, even earlier in the day I could’ve made other arrangements.
There’s no excuse for this.”
“FTD committed on Dec. 5th to deliver the flower arrangement on the 6th. By Dec. 9th the flowers had not been delivered. On December 9th I was promised that the delivery would take place on the 10th. Did not happen. On December 11th, I was promised the delivery would be fulfilled that evening. I did not take place. On December 13th, I called and was told FTD had cancel my order because the floral arrangements was no longer available. Btw, it is still available on their website for people to order.”
“Terrible, terrible, terrible
The flowers looked nothing like I ordered.
Surinder took my order. He got the names wrong twice, after correcting it, he still sent the wrong info out. He put the name of the deceased on the card!!!!
There were flowers there
that cost less than mine twice the size.
I spent 180.00. Mine were worth 75.00 if that
What an embarrassment looking at crappy flowers with the deceased’s name on it.
Terrible.

“I ordered the Gingerbread House Mini Tree for two different households and they did not arrive as described. The tree was suppose arrive “in a tin pot with ornament's and battery operated lights.” I expected it to arrive as picture - it came in a plastic bucket with the ornaments in a bag and the lights not on the tree. So, not only did it not come in the tin pot that matches the decorations, as pictured, the recipient must supply the pot and self decorate the tree. This was a gift not a project. The best FTD was offer 50% refund, they were not responsive to my 100% dissatisfaction. I will not place another order as I now can’t trust that what I order will be delivered. The pictures show you what they publish on the website and what was delivered.”
“I received email stating that I needed to call to process my order. I called & was transferred 9 times to every non English speaking person. Then I was told I needed to speak to finance & they weren't available although the email stated they were available 24/7. I immediately got another 2 emails to call. I called again, transferred another 6 times. Finally I just asked to cancel my order. If you can't transfer the phone to the correct person how can I expect you to deliver flowers to Colorado.”
“I ordered flowers for my wife at work with same day delivery. No delivery that day. I called and spoke to someone I could barely understand and I was assured it would be delivered the next day at her work. Surprise! It was not delivered. A lot of money and delivery fees for such poor service.”
“Big cooperate take over. No more home town florist! I ordered a plant to be delivered to my daughter’s office for her birthday. No delivery person from a shop. It came in a brown cardboard box delivered from UPS! My daughter was a little concerned receiving a box at work that she didn’t know who it came from as she works in a municipal building.
I paid a $20 delivery fee for this not to mention the plant was over priced. Never again will I support the big corporate giant.”
“First, they sold me a bouquet of flowers. Then for two days in a row, I had to call because they kept switching up the flowers and making me reapprove it. Finally, they didn’t deliver anything at all and so now I’m trying to get a refund what a complete waste of time”
“I had ordered birthday flowers for a friend. I requested delivery before 3:00 as she was leaving early. They didn't arrive until after she left. Very disappointed. Will not use them again. My husband had a similar experience on Valentine's Day. I didn't get the order at all.”
“Ordered birthday flowers a day early that were delivered at 5:09 pm. If this had been her place of employment, she would have gone home for the day. She thought I had forgotten her on a significant birthday.
It shouldn't take 34 hours to deliver local flowers when this is what the business core function.
I'm still waiting to verify that what was delivered was what was ordered. I don't have much confidence at this point in the entire transaction.”
“ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH!!!! I ORDERED A RED POISETTIA WITH BASKET AND BOW. WHAT WAS DELIVERED WAS A WILTED ONE WITH ON BASKET, NO BOW AND LOOKED LIKE IT CAME FROM KMART. I ASKED THE RECIPIENT FOR A PICTURE AND SENT IT ALONG WITH MY COMPLAINT. FOR SEVERAL DAYS I GOT EMAILS APOLOGIZING AND SAYING THEY WOULD REDELIVER. THEY DIDN'T.NEXT THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE GIVING ME PARTIAL REFUND AND WOULD SEND "COMPLIMENTARY BOUQUET." IF THEY CAN DELIVER THAT, WHY COULDN'T THEY DELIVER WHAT I ORGINALLY ORDERED?! AFTER I SAID I WAS GOING TO COMPLAIN TO VISA ABOUT POOR PRODUCT/POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, AND WRITE A REVIEW, NOW I'M GETTING FULL REFUND. REFUND DOES NOT MAKE UP FOR THE EMBARRASSMENT OF RECIPIENT GETTING UGLY FLOWERS!!! NEVER USE FTD!!”
“They’re a scam! Don’t use them! Purchased flowers to be delivered. We have a ring video of the florist walking to the door knocking once then walking to the truck with the flowers - wasn’t on the porch more than 3 minutes. When we called to inquire- they refused to provide a refund and said they can’t do anything about that. It’s a scam! Do not use them!”
“Very disappointing. Apparently they have a large collection and they can do anything for you. Promises, promises for flowers to arrive in time. Guess what: 24 hours delay!0
And it was for a birthday! What is the point to buy expensive, exotic flowers for a birthday, to pay for service in time and they would arrive next day!
Be very careful with this company! I would not ever never use them or recommend them.”
“The delivery time was perfect. The tulips never opened they all are turning brown and dying. Do not know what store they came from. They were a sympathy gift.”
“Ordered from the website just fine, then the day before the order was supposed to go out they blocked the card and requested way too much information and a fax from a bank :/ who even faxes anything anymore. The call center was of course India, and they seemed to have no idea how to do a job.
Tried to get the info to them, but they didn't like the fact that I was deployed overseas. So after 5+ phone calls and 15 emails I finally gave up with that useless company and submitted a charge back with my bank and called a local florist that was down the street from my wife's apartment.
Completely useless company. Overcharging and under delivering.”
“Ordered flowers on FTD and they were delivered to the wrong address. I was told I was getting a partial refund but in reality I received a credit that was only good for two months, and didn’t even cover the full delivery charges of $19.99. I will NEVER use FTD again. I will call the florists directly because at least then you know who you’re dealing with and can work directly with the florist handling your flowers. FTD has become a nightmare to use.”
“This is the second time I have dealt with FTD and the second time they have messed up the delivery. The first time was for my grand-daughters high school graduation. I ordered them in plenty of time and was assured they would be delivered on her graduation day. I get an e-mail the day of delivery that the order will be late and she did not get it until 2 days later. Dealing with customer service was a joke, you could not understand the people due to strong foreign accents. So I decided to give them another chance and on November 19th I ordered flowers for my grand-daughters Sweet 16 and I was promised a delivery on November 23rd. At 3:30 that afternoon there was still no delivery so I checked with customer service and tried to speak to someone but I could barely understand them due to a strong foreign accent. He assured me the flowers were out for delivery. An hour later I receive an e-mail that they are unable to deliver the flowers because the florist did not have the correct flowers and they would put different ones in and "try" to get them delivered on Monday the 23rd. What kind of service is this? an out and out lie by customer service telling me the flowers were out for delivery when in fact the arrangement was not even made yet. I call customer service again and speak to a woman who I could barely understand and she said I was not lied to, just how does she figure that? I told her I was assured they were out for delivery when in fact they were not even made up, so how are they "out for delivery". She told me she would add more flowers and refund some money when I told her I was going to write a bad review. She was more concerned that I did not write a bad review rather than deal with the poor customer service. NEVER AGAIN WITH FTD.”
