“1000% recommend the fudge making experience
My wife and I did the fudge making experience in the Canterbury shop – it was a great experience and I highly recommend it. Mike was a great tutor, and along with Natasha we felt like part of the Fudge Kitchen family.
We sampled a lot of fudge while we were waiting for our batch to cool to the right temp to work with it, and then got to make the fudge with Mike telling us all about fudge, explaining the steps and the different tools used. He demonstrated, and then we both had a go at the different techniques and ended up with the baguette shaped fudge, which we then both took in turns to cut, there is even a technique to that too!. He was so patient, I thought we were pretty good until I watched videos on line of the experts doing it, where I realised how slow we were!
We sampled the fudge we made, got to take a slab each of that home, and we both got to take home several slabs from a choice of different flavours that were in the shop and before we left, we ate more samples...
We were thrilled to hear that you can freeze it….this meant rather than having to eat a lot of fudge over the next few weeks or even worse having to share, we got the ideal option; we cut into chunks and froze to eat at our leisure (it tastes great from the freezer)! We did share some…….
This is the best fudge I have ever tasted…. Some flavours I preferred over others, but if you weren’t so keen on one, you simply tried another!
I love the ‘crust’ on the outside and then it is so smooth, it melts in your mouth.
Simply perfect!”
“The box was well packed and packaging sturdy enough for the transport to southern germany.
The fudge is tasty as hell, but I try to eat is slowly over days and not just all at once ;)”
“By far the best fudge we’ve had. Really glad we found Fudge Kitchen. The Customer Service we received was amazing. The fudge making experience is definitely on the agenda.”
“Easily the best fudge shop in the UK. I have been a customer for years and the customer service is always exceptional whenever I visit any of your stores. As I live in London I do not have easy access to a store currently so I order online for special occasions. Shipping is always prompt and the selection of flavours available online is great. I wish you would open a store in Central London, I will visit every week!”
“Wonderful visit to the Fudge Kitchen in Bath today. It has been a few years since my last visit (as I'm not local) and the fudge was still just as good, if not better, than I remembered! The fudge wizards were so friendly, making our experience extra special. They even had a portable ramp ready to enable me to gain access in my powered wheelchair! Wish I lived closer... although I'm not sure that would be good for my waistline! Their fudge is totally worth it though!!”
“Booked a Fudge Making experience in Canterbury as a fun date day for two. We were met by Natasha and introduced to Mikey and talked through the history of fudge, the company and ingredients as we sampled most of the fudge varieties in the shop. The experience was good fun with a great running commentary of encouragement and banter as the workshop progressed. We made a chocolate brownie fudge, sampled along the way and left on a sugary high with a very generous 8 slices of fudge between us and a drinking fudge sample which we enjoyed later that evening. Really enjoyed the workshop enhanced by the wonderful Natasha & Micky, would highly recommend and will return soon as Canterbury is our nearest store. P.S Hope to tune into the Podcast soon! :)”
