“I phoned to get some questions answered, the woman who helped me was very knowledgeable friendly and had all the answers I needed plus. I was very impressed with her and the way she spoke about not only her company but even thier competition. I can't say enough about the service I was provided.”

“I applied for pet insurance on Monday cause my fur baby was ill, went to a vet Tuesday and she was diagnosed with parvo, and the insurance doesn't cover anything, I would never refer anyone to apply with them if u have an unvaccinated dog”

Hi Thomas, I'm really sorry you and your dog are going through this difficult time. Thank you for taking the time to write this review, my name is AJ and I'm the General Manager of Furkin. I understand your frustration and tried reaching you by email yesterday. After speaking with our Care Team to better understand your situation, it appears that the expenses were related to a condition that was pre-existing and present prior to enrolling. Pet insurance is designed to help protect pet parents from future unexpected accidents and illnesses, so unfortunately no pet insurance provider would provide coverage for pre-existing conditions. We try to do our best to educate pet parents on coverage details such as pre-existing conditions and waiting periods before they enroll, but it appears we missed the mark for you. While we would hate to see you go, we do have a 30-day risk-free guarantee should you wish to cancel and you will get a 100% refund. If there is any other information or support I can provide, please respond to the email I sent yesterday and I would be happy to help further by email or phone call.

“I just signed our 2 boys up for furkin the other day. I just did it online but I had to call and change something and they had me at the recording, “ you sit and stay and we’ll go get your furkin insurance” 😂. Beyond that brilliant bit, the lady I talked to was sweet and kind and dealt with the issue quickly and efficiently. Very happy with our decision so far.”

“I was undecided which pet insurance provider I was going to choose out of the 4 I was looking at. I spoke with Janet and she was able to explain to me the differences between providers and coverage. She also offered practical information from her experience in the pet health care field. Furkin was the lead prior to calling in but it was Janet who convinced me I had made the correct choice in providers.”
