“Bought the game on their site, directed me to Gamersgate where I downloaded it. The download didn't work. Spoke to Gamersgate who said I need to remove antivirus before downloading which is a load of garbage.
I understand it may not be Gamers247 error but if they are going to sell you you on to other business then they should at least make sure they are reliable.”
So what you're saying is you were provided with a solution to the problem but you ignored it.
90% of our business is based on downloads from third parties be it Steam, Origin or Gamersgate in this case. We sell numerous copies of all games and never have problems with people downloading them, usually because in the rare case they encounter a problem they follow the solution provided!
Don't you think our reviews would be littered with people complaining they can't download the game if that were true ??

You contradict yourself we offered you 20% off your next order, thats not nothing, we even sent you a follow-up email explaining in detail why we couldn't send out a replacement case.
But lets take a moment to examine this; you purchased a cd for £1.99, we sent it brand new and sealed in an unbroken case, in a padded envelope by first class post.
You contact us to let us know that the case arrived broken, we inform you that we won't be able to replace the case but we can offer you a 20% discount on your next purchase.

The one star in no way represent the level of service you received nor does it represent the quality of the item. From personal experience as a retailer and a consumer, it warrants no less than 4 stars. Taking into account the value of the item (£1.99) the fact that you received it the day after you ordered it, the fact that it was brand new and sealed as described and the fact that we offered you a discount on your next order. The only issue being that the case got damaged during transit.
What this 1 star actually represents is how petty you are, we are actually thankful that you won't be ordering from us again because franky what retailer would want you as a customer ??

I bought The Sims Medieval Pirates and Nobles and while the serial worked to download and install the game, I cannot play it since it asks for online authorisation (even though I downloaded it through origin and it recognises it). The serial I received from Gamers247 doesn't work for this however upon further research, it seems that a lot of people are having this problem (even if they bought from origin/steam/amazon/etc.) therefore I believe that this is a problem on EA's part rather than Gamers247 so it's hardly fair to ask for a refund.”

Thank you for taking the plunge! Unfortunately we do have to verify each individual order before dispatch which can cause a delay due to the amount of fraudulent orders we receive.
You wrote to us to say that you had purchased a Windows game but wanted a MAC game, despite it being advertised as such. Our response was;
"Sorry there isn't a Mac version, we do make it clear on the product page that its PC only. "
So how exactly is that rude? The only thing that is rude is leaving a 1 star review because you made a mistake, not only that but your comments are slanderous.
