Took nearly 6 weeks to deliver , rubbish palm plant at a rip off price - More yellow dead leaves than alive. Whilst waiting I purchased 2 lovely palm plans at a quarter of the price 1 This company wants avoiding at all costs.

Ordered 2/5. Paid money. No sign of delivery. False delivery emails. Cannot ring them as phones "disconnected". Chris Bonnett, apparent owner, advised he would sort. Email today 19/5 saying plant given to HERMES for delivery. Cannot track as HERMES say they haven't been given my order!! RUBBISH but who is lying here??

9 foxgloves I ordered finally received after nearly 6 weeks. Plants in a poor condition. Leggy, yellowed leaves, some main stalks cut off and one was too tall for the box and was bent over - a permanent state after 5 days in transit. No label on 6 plants so pot luck with the grouping of three varieties. Needless to say, I shall not be ordering from them again.

I am in the same boat as everyone else. Made an order on the 11/04/20 and still not received over £150 worth of plants. No communication from them what so ever. Absolutely appalled with their customer care /lack of it. I wish I had read a review before I bought as I would not recommend this company. Stay away

Me too exactly the same ordered on the 16th April .... no delivery, no communication apart from automated responses and no refund. Absolutely shocking...... the furthest from Express service I've ever experienced. The garden centres have been open and fully operational now since last week. I demand my money back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE AWFUL

Ordered 17th April and no plants arrived 😒 Raised 3 tickets and just an automated response. Requested a refund. We will see but won’t hold my breath.

Ordered plants 8th April. No response to emails or support ticket. Just generic statement blaming virus for delay.. Eventually arrived today 18th may. Two plants squashed into a small box. Half the stems broken! Paid £26 for these depressingly poor plants.

The order was made during Covid so I’m sympathetic however updates were poor, you can’t reach them and you get standard message when you raise a “ ticket” ( weird way to operate and inefficient!) They took my money five weeks ago which is against the credit and debit Scheme rules which state “ Payment must be taken on the day of dispatch” . I’ve cancelled the order via the ticket but have little faith it will be actioned without multiple chasing!! Very poor service and I wouldn’t use again- other Co far more on the ball.

Ordered 2 plants on 8th April. No respo se to emails apart from automated ones. Plants arrived today. Squashed into a too small box. Half of the stems broken. Paid £26 with postage for these depressingly poor plants.

After reading all these very recent reviews, I am in the same boat...my order was placed on 22/04..no response since, maybe we would all take legal action! DO NOT USE!!!

I would advise any customer who has paid for goods from Gardening Express to start dispute process with their bank or credit card company to retrieve their money back as could take up to 60 days. Shocking company, I’m sure you will see them on the BBC shortly. Rip Off.

After ordering some plants on the 9 thApril my plants finally arrived today, well some of them did , the rest are to follow, apparently. The sorry state they arrived in is deeply disappointing. The leaves have turned yellow and are falling off one plant. They were packed so tightly the pots are distorted. It is the first and last time I will use this company, they are uncontactable at the moment, even more annoying, the support tickets do not work I have contacted my card company for a charge back

Ordered on the 25/4 now 18/5 no order, no correspondence, no replies to refund request just ignoring me and blaming covid, I ordered plants from the Netherlands the day as this and got them 3 days later I have ordered from the Netherlands again and guess what 3 days later got my plants again. This company is exceptionally poor and don't deserve our custom.

I ordered mine 13th april. £42 and nothing. No responses to my emails and have now raised it with my credit card company. They should not be taking orders when they cant even fulfill from 6 weeks ago!!!!

Ordered fruit trees 11th April with we are still trading through virus with expectation 3 day delivery. Changed next day to max of 4 weeks. Now 37 days with the planting season expired and no communication to emails or enquiries. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible company to deal with !! Placed order on 12th April, it is now 18th May. No explanation and no response to "support tickets" raised with them. I have now requested a full refund and heard nothing. Please do not use this company !!!
