Still waiting for balance of plants ordered on the 2nd May. Its now 30th July. Been told on way numerous times but never arrive. Hopeless. Worst nursery I have ever dealt with. Original plants del of poor quality. 9cm plants just stuck into 9 inch pots of compost and unrooted into new pot. Two Lupins have now died. Rubbish and did not conform to 'of merchandisable quality'. Do not use.

AVOID THIS (NON) COMPANY - COWBOYS!!! BEWARE On the 19th April I ordered: Acer palmatum dissectum Firecracker - Japanese Maple: (2ft) Nandina domestica Obsessed - Heavenly Bamboo Obession: (1ft) Imperata cylindrica Red Baron - THREE Japanese Blood Grasses: (40cm) The plants arrived on the 20th June - Half Dead. I requested a refund and I have not heard anything back. They asking me to send photos. Which I did. They said they didn't receive them. They are stalling. The plants are still dying despite me placing them in very good compost and looking after them. The Acers arrived few branches and leaves that were shrivelled. The grasses were dry and brown. The bamboo was tiny and emancipated. Nothing like the photos they have on their website. I am still awaiting a reply to my last email on the 10th July. I don't expect to get a refund even though I waited (in good faith) for two months for the plants to arrive. I should have saved my money and waited for my local garden centre to open. The plants I have from them are in good health. Please save your money and don't fall foul of their useless whining about Covid impacting their delivery times. I don't know any other business who took two months to deliver anything during lockdown. Delivery (of anything) was the fastest growing business during lockdown. I ordered from them because they were a recommended garden business in The Independent. Shame on you for not investigating who you are recommending.

Please do not order from this company, they took my money knowing only too well my plants would be delivered in such a poor state. Had the cheek to email a few days before delivery to say my plants were being hand sorted and with me soon. When my plants arrived they had quite clearly been in the boxes for weeks. Despite numerous emails, no reply or refund

Appalling bunch of cowboys. Still owe us for a dead clematis that arrived 6 weeks ago, nine weeks after ordering. They blame everything on COVID.... so how does every other online company manage? They are like Banksy.... impossible to contact. E-tickets? Might as well write to the Martians. See their Trust Pilot reviews too where they are ranked 193 out of 194 garden centres. They’ve been reported to Watchdog, the Press, Rip off Britain, various GOV sites and Trading Standards. Christopher Bonnett their MD is too busy enjoying his £1.2 million house ‘Piece Cottage’ to bother about his customers. Their come-uppance is due very soon!!

The service from them is terrible, the delivery is very poor. The items turn up in such bad condition they are not worth planting in the ground. If you reject the item when delivered the carrier just places the item on someone else’s doorstep. Best thing is to get your money back through your bank and never deal with them again. Very bad experience.

Awful and never again. I wish I had read the reviews before I was tempted to order from this company. All I ever get our emails blaming Covid and the quantity of orders for the delay in delivery. Every other company that I’ve ordered plants from including Amazon eBay deliver within a week. Gardening express Just sends continual emails telling me it’s going to be three or four weeks Awful and never again

This company is a joke, they know it, everyone tells them so and they still continue to treat their customers with contempt. The Coronavirus has given them the ideal opportunity to disguise their total incompetence and distain at the very thought of customer service.

Terrible company, ordered plants in April received some in late June - either dead or rotting, contacted immediately with photo proof, submitted enquiry tickets and all they do is close the ticket I would NEVER use this company again absolutely disgraceful

Tree never received order in April. Refusing to deal with the complaint in the correct manner. I would not buy anything from this company. They are now saying we have had the delivery when we never had it to try and get out of giving our money back. Disgusting customer service and this company are clearly ripping a lot of people off. Please keep away from this company. Looks like they are going to run off with our money and a lot of other peoples. Complete crooks

Avoid avoid avoid Waited 13 weeks for rubbish plants to be delivered - still awaiting a £30 tree that was too follow ‘ that was 2 months ago. Can not get through to their customer service. Just automated emails received when tickets raised . Absolutely awful company !

I have never come across such a disastrous buy ever!,,I would’ve definitely applied for a refund but reading the reviews I would be wasting my time!,,2 months wait for broken and dead plants!,,Why don’t you care about your customers?I did write a review earlier I really am in shock.I thought I had received somebody else’s order.I have added pictures.I would like you to show my 1st review.I am always satisfied with my buys and I am not a fussy customer so why do you send dead plants out.There are no flowers on any I have been sent.Please show earlier review!,,,

Firstly I have been waiting 2 months for my plants.When they eventually arrived I thought they had sent me the wrong order.weeds are more healthy.The order I received yesterday the plants are half dead all broken but it seems people that have asked for refunds haven’t received them so what do you do?I always shop online and because the nurseries were closed I thought brilliant I will do the garden.The picture of the purple flower is what I ordered this is what I got!,,I could cry what a waste of money!Reading other reviews everyone feels the same!

Received Japanese Maple Acer. Arrived in reasonable time but with extremely dry soil and the edges of most of leaves were very dry and brown. Planted in large pot with good compost hoping will recover. 3 weeks on and leaves are still brown. Will not be ordering from this company again. Recommend J Parker's and Thompson and Morgan.

Absolutely awful company. They'll be months sending you your order and when it arrives the contents will badly packaged and half dead. They will make it as near impossible as they can for you to contact them or get your money back. They will blame it entirely on covid 19, a massive insult to all the companies still providing customer service and quality goods. Stay clear.

Absolutely Rubbish Company, The owe me 12 plants (awaiting Delivery) 5 weeks. Also the delivery I have received most the plants were damaged. They do not answer any emails or when you raise a ticket which they ask you to do, they do not address the problem or answer questions within the ticket.

WARNING...DO NOT BUY FROM GARDENING EXPRESS. MY PLANTS ARRIVED NOT AS DESCRIBED OR THOSE PURCHASED. SPENT OVER £100 FOR DEAD PLANTS UPON ARRIVAL. NO WAY TO CONTACT THE COMPANY. I COMPLAINED VIA THEIR 'CONTACT PAGE' ON THEIR WEBSITE AND IT HAS BEEN 2 WEEKS WITH NO RESPONSE. PLANTS ARE DEAD AND NOT WHAT I ORDERED.

Do not order from here received one dead and two damaged plants. No response and no way of contacting through their customer service you just go round in circles keep your money and support your local garden centre
