“I was after a new LPG switchover regulator as the old one was worn and the squirrels had chewed one of the hoses. I saw that Hamilton Gas Products had versions with braided metal hoses (ideal). I emailed them to check that the one I was loooking at wa suitable i.e. low pressure for a gas hob. They emailed me confirmation the following morning (query on the Sunday PM and received the reply on the Monday AM). I ordered the new Reg and it was delivered within 2 days. The heating engineer fitted the Reg and checked everything over and it works as it should, all nice and safe again which is what you want. Brilliant service from Hamilton Gas Products, I can't fault them at all from sending a query email to order and delivery they have been helpful and efficient and I would certainly recommend them. The price of the regulator was reasonable and the item looks and feels quality. The Regs with just usual rubber hoses are £80 and the braided metal was £94, it was a no-brainer to get the slightly more expensive one in case the Furry Tree Rats try chewing on them again. Very happy and would order from them again. I'm hoping I won't need to as the last Regulator was in place for 25 years so I hoping this one will out last me.”

“I found the unit when mounted on cylinders station thedidnot switch over to the full cylinder from the empty one. On ivestigation and replacing the cylinder connection hose with one from the old changeover unit it works as expected. One further inspection of te hose it was found that the non-return valve was jammed closed by a dirty-black greasey "gunge". I was able to take the coupling apart and clean the valve of dirt and further into the hose, I am reluctant use the hose incase it is not totally clean.I am also concerned that dirt may have blowh into unit and cause a problem in future. I am disappionted at your poor quality control .”
