“We have an annual service contract for our gas insert in a brick fireplace. Cypress does a good job with the annual cleaning but getting service to replace a failed gas valve has been impossible. We reported the problem three months ago and there has not been any follow-up to replace the failed valve. Gas does not flow to the burner, so we are unable to enjoy the fireplace.
COVID-19 has been a challenge for us all, but we are not receiving the basic level of service expected for a maintenance contract. Despite repeated attempts, we have not heard back from the service manager regarding the status of the replacement part, or when it is expected if backordered. The Cypress Air TV commercials that run in the DC Metro Area and their website promise professional service and speedy resolution of any issues. Our experience with Cypress to date has found that to be an empty promise. Think twice when doing service with Cypress.”
