Got quoted £1300 until I told them about a non fault claim (when Someone drove into my parked car) meaning I still had 3 years no claims and they put it up £800 saying I’m more of a risk!! Basically no claims bonuses are useless.. Absolute joke would never use them again!!

I am 80 years old and not very good with computers but with Admiral I managed to buy insurance for my car at the first attempt. From start to finish this procedure was very simple even for an old man like me !

Scammed by an insurance scammer. Admiral was of no help and accepted the claim without even telling me for months!! Be careful!

They don't defend their customers! Use a different provider!

blatant fraudulent claim against my vehicle and Admiral did nothing at all to defend me - research and use a different Insurance provider or risk the same thing happening to you...

I have my car insurance with Admiral but fortunately I haven't had to submit a claim with them. Recently, they sent me a renewal proposal that meant an increase in premium of ~£20, an example of loyalty penalty. I found a cheaper quote from another provider (~£60 cheaper) and called Admiral to cancel the renewal. They were very friendly and matched the quote I had. For the same cost, I then decided to stay with Admiral (less hassle than changing).

Was in a non-fault accident where my car was written off. Was declared not at fault in just a few days, gave all the information they needed, got a full medical report from the GP and 17 months later, I've still not a penny of the £3000 they told me I should get from the other side because they're extremely slow with contacting me or the other side. I've paid a fortune in calls to admiral. I call ever couple of days and changed my insurer a YEAR ago to Hastings (best decision ever) and still there's no progress whatsoever in my claim!

really bad customer service. They stated that there was an issue with the "Claims Underwriting data base". I had to hold the line for over 15 minutes before they stated that everyone was OK. The whole experience including the 10 minutes on-line application was far too stressful.

Problems at beginning re payments , customer service was terrible ,not very helpful , come to renew as existing customer price gone up instead of down , but can get it cheaper if I was new customer ? How about cheaper insurance for those who don’t claim and are responsible /carful drivers ,

Absolute cowboys. Completely incompetent from start to finish when dealing with a claim. Avoid this company unless you like having your time and money wasted.

I was with admiral for 2 years and never had any problem. Although my insurance was quite expensive. So I decide to use confused. com and came out with better prices for the same insurance coverage, so I contacted admiral to see if they would match the offers that I had, that they said wouldn't be possible. That is the only reason I change insurance.

Been with Admiral for a few years and went through the usual nonsense each renewal where the price gets put up till you call and get it back to a cheaper price than the previous year. In December my wifes car got rear ended. Other party's insurance took complete responsibility and covered all costs. Admiral though it would be a good idea to charge us an additional £180 for insurance for an accident that was not our fault and cost them nothing. Total greedy scum company just looking to boost their profits. Tell me how a person is going to be involved in another accident after their car has been rear ended? Looks like it's a case of guilty until proven innocent, even then you won't get that extra cost back. Just such a greedy company.
