My daughter took out a policy with the black box fitted. They failed to inform that this plugs into the 12volt port that already houses her dash cam. She wanted to cancel her policy. It was then we discovered they had her by the sort and curlys. She has to pay £10 for a double socket or to be charged £75 to return it and cancel. For youngests avoid this company . Having a dash cam is more peace of mind in my book.

Been with Bell for 18months now, never had any issues and always found them extremely helpful over the phone, especially during the renewing process. More recently I have used the breakdown cover service and it has always been efficient, timely and everyone I have dealt with has been extremely helpful and kind. Would certainly recommend as a result

Great claim experience. We noticed a dent in the door which must have happened overnight while our car was parked on the road side. Perpetrator unknown, without consulting Bell we went to the nearest garage which replaced it with a second hand door, we received an informal invoice handwritten on a sheet of paper with a stamp from the garage and paid in cash. Not ideal for a claim when usually they like you to know the offender, a police report, get an estimate from their trusted garages, before they give their consent and pay out. I didn't expect to be able to claim but after a few days I thought I'd give it a try and phoned Bell. They told me the common procedure which was very different from what we had done, without being patronising in the slightest. They told me what to email accross (invoice and photos of damage and repair and of garage) and said they would see what they could do. I sent that in, with an apologetic accompanying email, and received a phonecall not long after how we would like to receive the reimbursement! At the time we chose this insurer because of it's low price for the cover, and now we received first class service! No hesitation to recommend Bell.

I cannot fully Express how disappointed l am with this company l am annoyed angry and feel abused and neglected yet l pay for the service. I made a complaint via email the reply l got was rude insulting and unreasonable. I was told l was to tell them 1 of my Drivers l added on my insurance policy who had gotten a speeding ticket. How the hell can l predict that in future she would get a speeding ticket l am not a god how does 1 predict a speeding ticket. Very annoying Assumptions are very bad. If you are having a bad day please do not respond to customers without thinking clearly having facts. I am not stupid l am a human being with capacity and a brain. Taking advantage of the service users is what l have picked up from this company.If you complain they never ring you to explain or resolve anything. Very useless You are mistreated for paying them a service. Unfortunately l have been too busy to organise myself and get a different insurance company if anyone knows please assist.

Great insurance provided for last 3 years. But unfortunately not the cheapest renewal quote this year. Never had any problems with this company. Very good customer service. Would recommend for new drivers and people looking for black bix policies.

If I could have left negative stars I would have. I am now £82.36 less well off because I decided to cancel my policy. £49.50 to cancel, then a further further £30-something for the amount of "days in cover" whatever that means...I already paid £80 at the beginning of the month! They end your call with "have a nice rest of your day" in a cheery voice - probably because they just shafted you of your money for cancelling the policy. I hope they reply to this, but they won't - because they are too busy taking money from other unsuspecting people. Yours sincerely, A very unhappy customer.

Reasonably priced for my circumstances. Installing and uninstalling the blackbox is a breeze and I never had any problems with it for the 3 months I had it installed. They rated me as a bronze driver all throughout the process which was probably a fair statement. It didn't increase my premiums at all but could have reduced them if they deemed me to be a better driver. Never experienced using the claims department however registering and calling to set up and cancel my renewal I spoke to friendly people both times. Very happy for my first insurance.

Have been with bell for 5 years and never had an issue with them until I bought a new car mid way through my 12 month contract. Rang bell to change the vehicle over and they wanted to charge me over £50 extra per month for the new car which I wasn’t happy about granted the car is a 19 plate but I’m 26 years of age and have 5+ years no claims and I found quotes elsewhere of only £10 more than I was originally paying per month. I wasn’t happy with the increase in price so asked them if they could meet me in the middle slightly or match the quote I’d found elsewhere they would not budge on price at all. So now they have lost a customer of 5 years as I have had no choice but to cancel my policy or be charged a ridiculous amount. To make matters worse they have charged me a cancellation fee of £56 which they have debited from my account twice and even though I have cancelled my policy they have continued to take my usual monthly payment as well. I rang them today to dispute this and to get a refund of nearly £100 to be told oh it needs to be looked into and I need to have a word with accounts I’ll call you back in 5-10 mins, 6hours later still no call back I will trying them again tomorrow not happy at all!!

I havent insured my car with use yet, just reading all these bad reviews , i supposing use are just like go skippy insurance, no good slippery scamming company , taking advantage of customers money , how can people trust use

Basically out of all the insurance companies I checked out ,Bell Insurance was the cheapest and very easy to set up in fact it was so cheap some of my colleagues and friends were amazed and just to make things even better and cheaper Bell have a plug in device which you plug into your cigarette port very easy to set up which record's your driving over a few months and if you drive sensibly Bell Insurance actually reduce the cost of your Insurance by putting money directly back into your bank account also if you have just past your driving test like me the plug in encourages you to drive safely which is very useful and necessary when driving a car on your own for the first time ,One more point to add I have just passed my test so I though my insurance was going to be sky high. I've heard many horror story's of how much it cost people for their first time insurance but with Bell Insurance that wasn't the case its the opposite it's as cheap as chips as the saying go's.Top marks for Bell ten out of ten.fully recommended.

Expensive as all the others. Never going to be happy. This will not stop us getting car insurance and they know that. So nothing to be complain really.
