Unreliable and Unprofessional I had an extremely disappointing experience with Bell Car Insurance, and I would strongly advise against using their services. After my car was involved in an accident, they wrote off my vehicle without even bothering to conduct a proper inspection. It was clear they were trying to minimize their payout rather than provide fair treatment. When I tried to contact them for clarification or assistance, their customer service was virtually non-existent. I was met with delay tactics and a complete lack of transparency. No genuine offers of help or support were provided, making the entire process unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. If you're considering Bell Car Insurance, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. This company seems more focused on avoiding responsibilities than actually helping their customers in times of need. Avoid them at all costs!

Not happy. I reached out back in Dec 2023 to have my payment pushed, which was extended by ten days but the money never came out I reached out a few times and nothing. I got a letter in the mail that it was canceled so I let it go and I got another insurance co by March 1 which was legally under the 31 day limit for running without and I did EXACTLY what was asked of me and Penndot is still is moving forward with registration suspension. I had to reach out to the state commissioner, you know the one who sits for PA up in DC? for help to fight this suspension, and it’s all because Bell insurance turned us in for a lapse in coverage. When no one from this agency ever bothered to call me back, or I don’t know maybe an email? everytime I called in my agent was busy - so I had to leave a voicemail or message with reception. Y’all can just send your money to collections because you’ll never see the rest of the premium.

Used the black box for 3 months but decided to cancel the policy as the ratings given by Bell were far lower than they should have been. Penalized for doing short trips. Penalized for going on a motorway. Penalized for picking up my son at 11pm. I have NEVER had a claim in 40 years of driving but Bell threatened to cancel the policy based on its rating for speed, smoothness, night driving. This would affect any future insurance be it car, house, anything. Having the black box was a truly awful experience. Keep getting “Your Policy is at risk of being cancelled as outlined in the 'Poor score' section in the terms and conditions.” It did not matter where or how I drove. DO NOT USE BELL INSURANCE.

Every week I tried improving my score after receiving feedback and I hardly drive but my score feedback didn't improve. Even gives feedback score for driving at night which I hardly ever do. BEWARE

This is how bell those the installation That was not a professional job .the told me the tenant told them to put it like . I don't know what kind of technician bell have but this is soooo unprofessional. Bad service only care about money What about security does not matter

Plug in device - good idea but then because of constant monitoring I've had it for like 8 months for no reason as every month I've received ratings of my driving telling me not to drive as much to minimize chances of accidents, well how am I supposed to drive less if I specified that I'm using my car mainly to get to work! Then, I've told them about me getting points for speeding and they tried to charge me extra £700 for it! No communication what so ever regarding my policy renewal, they just assumed that I wish to renew. I've reported that my car got damaged when parked outside of my flat, they literally done nothing regarding my claim and all they said was if I go further my excess can increase and I would have to cover the repairs anyway! No support at all! Supposed to be the cheapest and it was at first but then they trying to get money off customers in every way possible!

Very disappointing thought it was still a vintage inn but when tried to pay with voucher was told not vintage food was very poor and expensive for what you got will not be going again

The Worse ever insurance i have had i was insured with them for last 5 years never had a claim but just few months before i had an accident in Wandsworth area and it wasn’t my fault as I agreed with the maximum voluntary excess and it covered all the repair cost,they didn’t take the investigation serious and they said they couldn’t find cctv in the area(which is impossible).they reduce my no claims discount for 5 years.when i contact them they said because your case it is still open we cant give you all your claims discount.i changed my insurance company and never ever recommend them.it is a daylight robbery😡

Took out a policy with Bell after they came up cheapest on Money Supermarket. immediately regretted it when I got a text saying about a plug and drive unit being delivered to me... I didn't opt for that as I drive an i8 but probably my fault for not unchecking the option when retrieving quotes. I went to cancel my policy and not only is it impossible to cancel your policy without calling customer service (in 2021... really?!) but they have fees for EVERYTHING. I couldn't even get a hold of customer service and will have to call during work hours as they aren't really open til 8pm like it says on their contact section. I've never had any issues like this in 15 years of driving... can't even imagine how impossible it must be making a claim based on my experiences so far. Avoid at all cost.

I paid for a years insurance up front. I had my insurance cancelled and did not receive notification that it had been cancelled till a week later, so I had been driving an uninsured car for a week. They said it was cancelled as I did not forward information i.e. council tax bill and a few other items as they were doing an audit. I did not receive an email for this but later found it in junk mail. I then had to reinsure immediately and paid considerably more with different insurer. Validations were unhelpful and there attitude was basically tuff.

Absolutely not to be trusted . Paid for insurance for a year upfront Then received a letter saying insurance was cancelled 3 days earlier because of--- late fees-- How can you have late fees if you have paid entirely . They wanted £75 to reinstate . This company should be thoroughly investigated by the association of British insurers ABI. Im not alone --read the reviews for yourself . Customers unite.

Hopeless. I have a Tesla and the plug in they sent me does not fit so they wanted to charge me an extra £412 which doubled the insurance. Teslas do not have 12v only USB. You'd think they would know that. Customer service hopeless. Got charged £50 because I put the wrong date on my SP50. Really horrible experience. Been driving for years never had anything like this. Appalling take my word and avoid,

Very poor customer service, they charge a fee for absolutely everything and their insurance is extremely expensive. Do not go with Bell!!

Feedback doesn’t match reality, wish I’d read the reviews on trustpilot first, Many others give accounts that reflect my concerns and experience. Blackbox is literally black box, no transparency on the data they receive and their explanations are unspecific. They don’t respond to subject access requests in requests for the data and how they arrive at automated decisions, contravening the ICO.

Watch out for Validations, Absolutely awful, will not use Bell Car Insurance again. My teenage daughter was issued with a validation request, documents sent by email, one was out of date. They cancelled her policy, stating an email had been sent, which they could not retrieve and resend. A letter notified her, received five days after cancellation was actioned by them, hence we distrust their organisation. Totally unhelpful, unsympathetic and extremely poor customer service.

Real rating -zero stars. AVOID Sent black box-plugged it in as I’m confident I drive well. Average rating not explained. Then a letter giving me a weeks notice they are cancelling the policy as I have broken the rules I’m unplugging the device.i once notice it had fallen out when giving a work pal a lift home -I think he stood on the wire. Anyway,the say by unplugging it I have breached the terms and they are cancelling-with short notice a major hassle.no warnings cancelled. I’ve been on the road for about 18 years. Never claimed a penny from an insurance company1a total Scandal.
