“I got a quote on a comparison website which included a aftermarket end can that did not affect my price. I rang them up to go ahead with the quote but then remembered I had fitted a set of R&G crash bungs to protect the bike. the quote then went up Â£20.00!?!? I could of taken the bungs of and gone elsewhere and got fully comp cheaper but could not be bothered. This to me makes no sense. But I will look into this when it's time to renew next year as I rarely stick with the same insurance brokers. The people on the phone were helpfull no their fault.”

“There are other companies available via comparisson websites offering slightly cheaper cover but after checking out reviews of these companies I'm staying with Bennetts. I want good cover if I ever need it (hopefully I never will) not find out I'm insured by cowboys who will just take my money & run. Thank you Jackie from the call centre you were more than helpful & the options you gave let me renew with the cover I wanted at a very good price. Great service!!”

“Great price and additional coverage but the process of changing the insure bike has to be better. The cost to change over the phone was ridiculous and had a Â£35 admin fee so had to go and arrange a new policy lower cost than the quoted upgrade price then call back to cancel the old policy because if I cancelled the old policy beforehand that would have incurred a Â£50 cancellation fee. Too convoluted should just be change the reg to this and pay the difference.”

“i am a first time motorcycle owner riding on cbt/ l plates. scoured the internet and found bennetts to be the best value for money. mohammed was the gentleman i dealt with when i phoned bennetts and he was very professional and sorted the insurance very quickly. will be using bennetts again. regards joe”

“Bennetts insured my 1st motorbike 39 years ago great service then. Back in to motorcycling (a scooter now though). When Bennetts came up on Compare the Market just had to go with them. Did not insure for price although Bennetts were one of the cheapest but for their past service. Work colleague recommended another well know motorcycle insurer their quote was over double the Bennetts quote. Helpfully staff and easy to use web site to purchase insurance through.”

“Yeah pretty straight forward had a renewal notice come through and it was a good price so I rang them up and job done ok I probs got it a few quid cheaper but it was no hassle just to go with the renewal offer.Happy chappy.!!!”

“After spending a long time searching for a decent bike insurance I finally decided on Bennetts. I was so impressed I insure both of my bikes with them.They weren't the cheapest on the market but always remember you get what you pay for and I have paid for class.”

“Almost impossible to get your renewals as they don't have an on line faculty for this they don't answer emails or on line requests for contact and their phone lines are always busy.Apart from that use their on line quote facility to renew - its cheaper and quicker than trying to get through to them the normal way”

“Overall a painless process very good price great helpfull operator who arranged the policy all very cool. Only fly in ointment was over the NCD I'd stated 9+ yrs (knowing I'd had a run of over 20 years with no claims and mainly protected) but the proof doc only stated 5 or more years. First I knew was an email from you stating I'd ammended the policy and could I send a cheque for Â£24ish... Slightly upsetting as I'd only just bought the policy the day before... Apart from a frustrating phone call to you with a slightly short operator who wouldn't (couldn't) budge I then went back to previous company who very kindly sent a revised doc stating 12 or more which I have sent over. Your second operator (Shaun) was very helpful. Thinking about this an email saying what the proof stated and that there might be a charge if I couldn't prove the 9+ might have been a better approach...”

“Shocking company taken money out my account for the last two years for someone elses policy they cancelled in 2013. Will not talk to me as i am not policyholder. Beware if you cancel your policy contact your bank to stop these crocks taking your money in future years. I couldnt give a zero rating or i would have”
