“Took out a very competitive and comprehensive Home Insurance Policy. Received All Documentation electronically on same day as full payment made. However before taking out Home Insurance Policy with Churchill - I telephoned them to ask can I receive All Home Insurance Policies Documentation through the Post. Never did after telephoning twice a week after. They blamed their only post sorting office twice for the delay due to covid-19.”

“Had a windscreen claim - we all know that its normally Autoglass, but the claims page gives the windscreen number as the main claims number - you call it then it tells you to call Autoglass and gives the proper number!! Their number then tells you you have to register your claim on line!! Churchill booklet needs to tell you how all this and avoid all the faffing around.”

“I bought a new car so I had to alter my policy. When I bought the policy I got through immediately and spoke to an agent in the UK. When I changed the policy it was to someone in India. It was like pulling teeth. She asked the same questions repeatedly and clearly was reading from a script. I could hardly understand what she was saying because of her poor English language skills. It wasn't her fault personally but Churchill give the impression they're a UK company, this only applies when you buy a policy. I would hate to make a claim if this is the level of customer care they offer, If I did have an accident in my car, leaving the car at the roadside and walking away would be preferable than calling them and put myself through that again. I'll not use Churchill again.”
