Autorenewed a policy after I had set up one manually with slightly different details, the chat function was either AI or being answered from somewhere else in the world, they ended up cancelling both policies and only sending one refund. Really poor communication throughout.

After already taking a payment off me they then tell me they need to cancel my insurance start a new one and take another payment again in the same month with no refund after all I wanted was my no claims discount protecting adding on which I already added on from the start then once the insurance started they decided it wasn't protected after 4 months of IT issues they tell me oh we can now add protected no claims that they also confirmed I put it on in the first place to also say sorry for the amount of times ive called and no call back for them to turn around and say yes we can add it but need to cancel and take another payment with just a sorry.

To add insult to injury, even though I had paid annually for 12 months and they had cancelled it against my wishes, they also advised me they would not refund the remaining 6 months' premium! I do not care what they slip into the small print of policy documents; this is just plain unacceptable.

I was told I would have a refund via the person I spoke to on the chat and then I called as it had not been received and was then told no your not entitled to a refund.

Unfair cancellation fee. When I sold my car halfway through the policy period, Churchill charged me the full value of the rest of the policy. Their small print does warn you of this, but it's completely unreasonable. Especially when customers who pay annually receive a refund if they cancel the policy. I wrote a letter of complaint. No reply after 3 months. They sent the debt collectors. Not Impressed.

Agreed insurance premium to be paid Churchill then charge an extra £157 which was unauthorised this is fraud and theft leaving my elderly grandparents in financial difficulty said they going to refund it that was a month ago this company are a joke would have given zero stars but that's not an option

I had no letters to warn me or tell me they were cancelling, I only noticed when I checked my bank account and had a refund off them.

Perhaps they would like to refund 9 days insurance cost while the car is unusable.

After a number of emails and calls highlighting the product we purchased online clearly shows national recovery nothing was done and we were told they could not help us further and did not refund the money.

I eventually agreed to pay another month and administration fee of about £100 (waiting for the refund) for a vehicle that need no insurance.
