“Changed bike mid policy. They charged a riduclous premium I've never paid this much in 15years of riding and never come across a more unhelpful team of people. Its all about commission obviously will ensure nobody I sell a motorcycle too ever uses devitt insurance”

“Paid a very high premium, was knocked off my motorcycle by a careless driver. No help with bike recovery post accident, then my details were passed around to various agencies. completely disjointed service with seemingly no contact between the other agencies . bike still not fixed.... feel like i'm doing all the chasing on premium rate numbers. Pretty unhappy i just want one person who's on my side, not to claim for personal injury or any of that rubbish just my bike fixed to the level it was before i was knocked off.”

“Devit have always been helpful but I do think their charges are a bit excessive, £10 to arrange your insurance? Huge charges for making a simple change (up to £50) all a bit over the top.”

“they show you a good price to catch you, and after you pay! they call and ask feeds for something that you insert correctly in the website. if you think that you ill have a good price you should forget this company.”

“Debit insurence have proved to be a good value for money i surer, which cover everything I require. Their customer services have been friendly and helpful. So far I have not had to claim for instead ve for my bike so unfortunately I cannot comment on that. However, I wasn't pleased by the length of time I was given to provide extra details to them (7 days), such as proof of no claims and explanation for an insurence gap as sometimes these things can take time to collect and send. Over all I an pleased with the company and would use them again.”

“I buy motor insurance because the law says I have to. So I appreciate an insurance company who will take my money, send me a certificate, process a claim without fuss and otherwise keep out of my life Devitt have failed in that respect, one month in and I'm being spammed with silly invites to write a review to win a prize. If I wanted a prize I would have bought one. I don't want a prize. I wanted insurance, so I bought it. I didn't want Spam!”

“I requested a motorcycle insurance quote through a well known motorcycle comparison site. Devitt came up cheapest. I found I could change details of the quote to suit as I hadn't yet bought the vehicle. I had a query about the stated premium which I couldn't answer online but one short phone call later and my query was answered. I was also advised that I could continue to purchase whilst I was on the call or complete later as I wanted to check another detail regarding voluntary excess, which I did. The documents were emailed immediately upon purchase and I was on the road later that day. You do only find out the true worth of your insurance company if you are unfortunate enough to have to make a claim but if their service on that is anything like their service to date, I will be a very happy customer.”

“Excellent service, easy to speak to someone on the other end of the phone and they seem to know what they're talking about. Good value also, only minor hassle was having to supply copies of licenses for each rider on the policy, never had to do this before - I guess it puts it on file and saves you having to do it in the event of a claim.”

“A genuinely personal service - no telephone robots, just helpful human beings who know what they're talking about and get stuff sorted out. They always get me a good price on my insurance too. I've been with Devitts for about 9 years now and I'm not going anywhere.”
