great service never had a problem. reasonable quotes and a insurer you can trust. They also have given me lots of perks while being with them such a discount codes for motorbike gear which is very good and help on even selling my bike. perfect service up to now will continue to use! never needed to contact there customer service so i am unable to give a fair review on customer service. But on the company great.

Partly my fault. I took our insurance and then went away for a month. No computer. I came back towards end of July to find Devitt would be canceling my insurance because of not having received verification of my no claim bonus. Now the fault of Devitt: They answer the phone, but when put on 'hold' they do not inform the paying customer of how long one has to wait / how much it is going to cost. I tried, and gave up. The second time it went from blurb to music...on and on. I sent Devitt (via Post Office Money) by First Class evidence of my no claims bonus. A week BEFORE cut off point for the insurance. I am, apparently, without any insurance. During that last week I got two letters, both the same, and both telling me of the implications. So I have declared SORN. Avoid DEVITT and anything to do with Post Office Money.

poor service been trying to ring them ask for call back was told from TOM that he will get someone to call me ASAP and still not spoke to anyone but i bet you will still cancel my insurance and charge me for it jokers

Took out insurance and set up payment date for 28th then they try taking money out on the 21st the point blank refuse to change the date it comes out. Very rude customer service. Avoid at all costs they do not care about their customers!!

Very poor, when I took the policy out I asked for auto renewal not to take place. At renewal I had an email saying they were going to auto renew. I spoke to them on the phone telling them not to auto renew which they said they would make sure did not happen. Guess what, they still tried to auto renew the policy. Not to be trusted.

Competitive pricing but Admin could be better I had been with a competitor for all of my motorcycling history they always send a ridiculous renewal but usually its sorted with a phone call. TBF my premiums aren't that high anyway but this year they wouldn't shift and were also adding a handling fee of £5, which they were intransigent over so i looked around and Devitt came up (through the post office), same cover same insurer about £10 cheaper. Which isn't much but as i said my premium isn't that high and its the principle. Fairly easy to set up although i got no confirmation and when i called to check they said they had e mailed everything out and if i hadn't received it then they could post me copies, then no they couldn't, then hey couldn't make changes until the policy came into force, then magically an e mail arrived. all good. Then out of the blue a few weeks later an e mail saying notice that they were cancelling my policy. Turns out that they hadn't got my proof of NCD, they hadn't asked me for it. Ive had motor insurance on various vehicles for 40 years i understand the principle, sometimes they ask authorities they have it on the big brother database (you know the one that reminds them that you had windscreen claim a few years ago that you forgot and didn't declare because its a windscreen claim) hey ho. All sorted now with another phone call. So good on price a bit poor on admin, lets hope i don't need to use it.

Not had a bike for 25 years and had given up due to high running costs. Out of interest I checked insurance quote and happy to say that Devitt made it all affordable again. Enthused I had a refresher session before buying my beloved 1100 Honda. Instructions on transfer of dvla info all very straightforward and was dealt with via email very promptly. I'm a happy Manfred.
