Avoid this company at all costs.
Took my money then said I couldn't use my NCB,
Called them they said no I can use my NCB its fine
Then gone 9pm on a Sunday night they cancel my insurance because I sold a vehicle, I never cancelled it and never sold the vehicle, they tried to refund me 1/8th of the money they took from me not 3 days earlier.
Avoid these clowns

They asked for NCB proof which I sent. They’ve now cancelled my insurance and claim there isn’t a refund. Dreadful service.

Policy ended in June. 2 months later they took £100 out my bank by mistake. Got refunded 3 days later after numerous phone calls. Said it wouldn't happen again. Now it's 5 months since I have been a customer of Devitt and they took £100 out my bank unauthorised AGAIN. Waiting for refund yet again due to their mistake. But caused me to miss a mortgage payment. Thanks!!!!

Watch out for the small print!!!
I cancelled a policy that was 3 months old that I had paid up front for.
I sold the bike and cancelled the policy (will you would as its the law). And they charged me an extra £25 to cancel the policy. No refund of the 9 months left just an extra £25 to pay.
Do not go anywhere near this company.

just been on hold for three and a half hours, after I'd found they had auto renewed a policy without asking me. for a vehicle long gone. I'd call it theft. upshot after cancellation fee no refund. with a bargepole do not touch

Watch the charges for mid term alterations.. i was quoted £75 to cancel a policy "reduced" to £50 as i was a good customer. They also do not refund anything under £10. So my £140 policy cancel 4 months into it produced a nil return premium as i was due £54 back. If they had kept the £75 charge i would have owed them money!!
How can it cost £50 to press a button????

my son just tried to change his motorcycle from a manual to automatic,
He paid £390 for the policy 4wks ago, and for the change over it would be a further £360 as it is classed as a higher risk bike!!! MOPED!! REALLY??.
but going through as a new customer the policy is £289! if we cancel the existing policy we get a refund of £191.. you should be ashamed
please everyone do NOT use this company
