I would not insure with anyone on line again I would only want to do it by phone. It is far easer and quicker for me to do by phone. I am hoping I do not have to do so for remainder of the policy.

Dont buy this policy, unless youre happy that you`ll never need to speak to an actual person about anything. Its just a dumb answerphone message saying you cant speak to anyone after 30 days from inception of your policy. Massively annoying!!!

Absolutely terrible company to deal with. I had a clear renewal reminder from my previous insurer showing my no claims discount, because GA didn't like the wording of the reminder they wouldn't accept it.

First year good quote so accepted. Second year, with no claims, the monthly payments doubled. No renewal notice either by email or post. Tried to call not accepted, tried email, no reply. Be careful.

At renewal I requested an explanation as to why I could not upgrade online to include PNCB & was told this was not an option they could offer at renewal but that I could go online as a new customer to get a quote for this. Not very helpful when they already have all my details on File.

Bought this policy because it was the most cost effective but when I was able to change the vehicle on my car insurance at the click of a button I became VERY impressed, felt more in control than I have with any previous policy and was very pleased that my partner had recommended General Accident.

DO NOT USE THIS POLICY!! After the initial 35 day period, general accident becomes non contactable for any query. This is unacceptable as the customer is cut off from its provider. It is also almost impossible to contact them in the event of an incident. This is of course, unacceptable. I am extremely dissapointed with the service provided by general accident and will never ever recommend them to my worst enemy. Deal with it!!

The only thing I would change is that, sometimes during the course of the year, it would be helpful to be able to discuss a problem on the telephone eg I was changing car and for some reason the new car was shown to be unacceptable to you although this obviously was not the case and, whilst the problem was resolved very professionally by several e-mails, one short telephone call would have made a great difference and given me immediate peace of mind instead of having protracted correspondence over 2 days whilst I was on holiday as, under no circumstances, did I want to have to leave General Accident. I trust this is helpful!

'Not my fault' claim dealt with extremely east despite 3 x cars involved. Repaired well and quickly although some confusion over whether I had /needed 'replacement car' (which I was not signed up for and didn't want). Happy.
