The policy was easy to take out but I had to cancel it after a few months as the new car I bought (which was a new model) was apparently not yet on their database; they were very helpful and dealt with the matter very well.

It's been two weeks since their policy holder crashed into me and still nothing! I've been on hold 6 times for between 25-35 minutes and there's been no answer. Also no reply to my emails! I finally got through today to be told they hadn't even started the process and so it would take a further two days for the process to be started. Very poor service and has left me without a car for two weeks already, God knows how much longer it's going to take now

Looked like a decent price but the service after an accident has been awful. No reply to emails. Found a landline number to ring them to avoid premium rate number they give you. Still not resolved claim after two months and much chasing. Buy cheap, get cheap. Never again. Definitely not recommended.

When a neighbour ran into my vehicle, the response from GA was swift and positive. A hire car replaced my car during repairs and the garage followed through with updates, along with checks from the hire company. A calming and anxiety free experience

I had to download all documents for this policy. Had I known that was the case beforehand, then I would not have used GA. It did not cause me any problem but someone else may be without the technology. The issue I had with it was I was not told from the outset that a paper copy could not be ordered.

GA is purely a web-based provider, therefore no "human" contact. Policy docs very user-friendly and easy to understand. Also, any amendments to policy can be done online very easily. Have not had to claim so far (thankfully), so can't comment on ease of procedure or how it would be handled.

Very poor service. I insured with them and sent proof of my ncd. And was told they couldn't accept it. I have a car i use for work and a family car but according to G&A i can only use ncd on one car. So my insurance went from £240 to £670. I then cancelled within the 14 days and was charged £26. Disguised is an understatement.

From the outset treated with distain, wouldn't accept my NCD until I called to ask why not! No apology, no respect for customers charge you £50 plus premium if you want to then cancel which I thought was illegal! Customer has right to full refund upto 14 days after taking out an insurance policy! Was then sent a threatening email regarding a previous quote that was slightly different to the cover taken out and was basically made to feel like a criminal while handing them over my money. Needless to say I will not be renewing with them next year or any year!

Easy to download documents on your account and to update your details when changing car. Shame you can't speak to a customer service advisor sometimes.
